Rachel Renee Russell serves up more laughs in the next installment of the New York Times best-selling Dork Diaries series.
Since we first met Nikki Maxwell, she's been doing everything she can to keep everyone at school from learning the truth - that she's there on scholarship in exchange for her dad working as the school's exterminator. The last thing Nikki needs is having her friends and - worst case scenario - her crush, Brandon, associating her with the humongous roach on top of her dad's van!
Now it looks like her secret could be about to come out, and Nikki's willing to go to any zany and wacky length to prevent that from happening. The timing seems perfect when a major talent competition is announced with a school scholarship offered as the top prize. Nikki loves to sing and dance, and now she gets to have tons of fun with her friends while competing for a chance to free her dad from his obligation! (And free herself from all that potential damage to her reputation.) Once again, hijinks and misunderstandings aplenty ensue, as well as more hilarious and heartwarming moments with all our favorite characters.

Loved it! 진짜 재밌다! 꼭 추천하는 책, 도크다이어리~읽어주는것도, 읽는것도 모두모두 재밌다! 한글로 읽어보고 영어로 읽는것도 좋다
Yes, because the series is quick and cute. I recommend it to any girl from 4th grade until...maybe 8th or 9th grade, though older kids can enjoy it!
Probably the plot. I have the whole series in hardback, and I just had to have a version that I could have on my MP3 player at anytime.
Nikki, since her voice was used the most. She did a good job with her little sister too.
No, not really. The book isn't particularly moving, but the ending was cute. I love the little twists in the end, when the book all comes together.
I want to give the performance a 4.5. When you first hear it...well the reader can sound a little whiny and over dramatic. But you learn to love it 20 minutes in. Listened to it in one night and ready to listen again :) IF I didn't just buy another audio book of a completely different genre.
Perfect short story for a plane ride or a trip to another city. I would recommend buying a longer book for a full road trip though.
"Pretty good, wish it were less cynical"
Narrator did a good job. Story pretty good.
The female version of Diaries of a Wimpy Kid, but less cynical (which is good).
It's a entertaining story like it but maybe not so much sarcasm😬 I can't tell if she's mad or it's supposed to be funny😂
these books are cute and entertaining to me, basically looking through the eyes of a middle school girl. it's easy to relate to since my daughter was one last year and I use to hear her stories and how some of them are soo similar to what this girl is going through. I think the first two books were a little bit better than this one but this was still a good book.. can't wait to read more..it's really like growing up with my own kid.
"Wonderful and entertaining"
My daughter loved it! She has been reading the series but I decided to buy the audio for book #3 and it has made her enjoy it even more.
It was a good book and very well-written and read. I really enjoyed it. Also was very funny.
