Have you ever wanted to quit your job and go travel the world?
At 25 years old Stephanie Yoder was already fed up with the monotony of 9-5 life. After much agonizing, she quit her stable desk job to backpack around Asia. During a year of travel through Japan, China and South East Asia she became a minor Chinese celebrity, was attacked by giant parrots and met the love of her life. In A Year Without Make-Up, Yoder chronicles some of her craziest adventures along with providing helpful tips and encouragement for others looking to make a life change.

"Bought this for My Daughter, the traveler."
Good Travel tips... Save First and think safety, Walk away if uncomfortable, without apology!! Short, concise, interesting.
Neither, Just good review of a young woman's travels. Good information for all those that travel outside the country.
This was my daughters choice of books, but has become good information for me as well. Enjoyed the 2 + hours spent listening in the car.
I suppose it would be a nice bit of advice for people setting out of their first trip, but nothing groundbreaking. I did not like the reader, she was way too slow and even pronounced some names of places wrong. That's the type of thing you shouldn't get wrong in a travel book!
