Some things can never be undone. The horrors I've defeated - or even caused - with my own hands...they are nothing compared to what's coming. Philip Pinkerton has brought his madness upon my family, my own blood. His army of necromancers is on the move, harbingers of a great darkness. I fear the war has begun...and damn, I don't get paid enough for this.

"Story lagged a bit, but"
Story lagged a bit. Even though they were always moving, it was easy to drift off. Towards the end there's no drifting. It gets good and leaves you wanting the next book now.
"Must read/listen too"
I have found these books to be written very well story keeps you engaged and couldn't imagine and one else telling the story.
Yes it is wonderful as always I love everyone of these books I could read them one after the other the stories are exciting interesting the characters are wonderful scary mystical everything that you want in a fantasy book please keep writing these and I will keep reading.
Winters demon was a good story although I'm not a big fan of demonology and fantasy. But I foundThe performance of William Dufris excellent choice of characterizations inflections everything about his performance with perfection I really enjoyed the story from that standpoint.
"Keep em coming"
great addition to the series can't wait for more, the narrator is one of my favorites keep it up.
