Publisher's Summary

When banished Princess Maia is captured by her father and threatened with execution, it appears that all is lost...until the people rise in rebellion against their king. Suddenly, the cast-aside royal finds herself crowned the first Queen of Comoros. But enemies appear on all sides as her father's conniving supporters assemble a new army against the fledgling ruler. While Maia struggles to keep the peace within her own walls, she rushes to form historical alliances with her neighboring kingdoms against an impending invasion of the ruthless Naestors - led by the cruel Corriveaux - who will destroy anyone Maia loves in order to ruin her kingdom and prevent the mastons from regaining power.

Realizing that Muirwood Abbey is once again her only hope for survival, Maia gathers her people there for protection. When she discovers an adversary greater than she's ever known, she must use all the magic, strength, and wisdom gained from her life's trials to prevent the Void that would bring destruction to herself, her true love, and the entire kingdom.

    "nice finish"

I read this series after finishing the first Muirwood series. I didn't think I would like it as much but just like the first one I couldn't put it down. I like the way he brought it all together in the end. a nice finish to the entire Muirwood series!

    "Amazing book, sad it's over!"

I fell in love first with The Legends of Muirwood and this series was just as enchanting. Jeff Wheeler has created an irresistible world, and the narrator brought it to life! Excited to see what the new series has in store...

"Jeff Wheeler is a Master Storyteller!"

When I started the second series I wasn't sure I would like it as much as the first. But the more I read it the more I felt like I could feel and understand the Medium and Maia. It's amazing how a book can invoke feelings of good and goodwill toward others while bringing you through an amazingly well told story with excitement and satisfaction. I thoroughly enjoyed The second installment of Muirwood and highly recommend it to avid readers everywhere. You won't be disappointed!

    "Terrible ending"

The main antagonist plot throughout the trilogy ends without confrontation. A crappy ending. This trilogy felt like it was written for teenage girls instead of adult fiction

    "Love these books"

I have so enjoyed Jeff Wheeler's books. I have just finished my 9th book in just over two months. I cannot put them down and have bought a new one in audio and Kindle as soon as I have finished one. I enjoy his style, his characters, and the lessons taught by the lives and choices of the characters.
I highly recommend these lovely adventure/love stories to anyone.

"Great Series in a long time"
Would you listen to The Void of Muirwood again? Why?

I will keep all three books in this series and listen again next year.

What other book might you compare The Void of Muirwood to and why?

A very dated Eve Dallas. Both of them had hard knocks to start, daddy issues, no love, found love, great leaders and both young women growing into leaders.

    Which scene was your favorite?

When they kissed for the first time when he was dying. Wow, it was great.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes it had so many twist and turns, and she was so naive in her innocence got on my nerves. But she stuck to her guns. Like believing in GOD and keeping the faith.

    Any additional comments?

I was hooked on book one, bought the next two before I finished it. Knew I wanted to know the ending.

A friend recommended Jeff Wheeler's Muirwood books, and I'm so glad she did, what a rollercoaster of a story! I will be a little bit lost when I have heard everything available by him, meanwhile, I can start another trilogy by him and be lost in great story telling while I get on with mundane jobs. Hurray for audiobooks :D

What an amazing conclusion to an amazing trilogy. Trips and trails, gripping and heart rending. Characters so real and familiar you feel related to them! Great penmanship. Thank you.
