Alone on the battlefield. Surrounded by death. Cornered by enemies. And ready to die.
Drizzt Do’Urden has become the Hunter, the bane of the orc hordes still ravaging the North. Cut off, alone, convinced that everything he ever valued has been destroyed, all that’s left is to kill, and kill, and kill, until there are no enemies left. But there are a lot of enemies, and even the Hunter is just one lone drow.

"I adore Salvatore 'S imaginative story telling. "
The narrator, Victor Bevine, makes the story come to life. I enjoy this series immensely.
"Just read/listen to it, won't regret it."
If you like fantasy/adventure genre just buy this audiobook and you won't be disappointed. Make sure however that you start from the first book because this is the continuation of the story.
I loved it. Filled with action and tradgey. I look for to the next book !
"can't wait to hear the next one"
2 a month... guess I'll have to wait a couple days for the next one but I don't think I'll be stopping any time soon. love these books and love this narrator!
"Revenge is best served cold, but cut with simatars"
If you liked the first Salvatore books with Drizzt in them you'll like this one it's everything a second book should be it has all the meat and potatoes the only reason I gave it 4 stars in regards to the story is because it is all war so it has no desert, the story tends to take you to a dark place and there's very little sunshine in the book other than the Revenge Factor so by the time you get to the end of the book you're ready for some sunshine but the author stays true to the consequences of War even though there could be a victor there really are no winners so by the end of this book you are ready for some sunshine. the great thing is I dont think you will predict the ending of this one. although the book is dark, The first 3 books that we fell in love with Drizzt were bleak, so if you love the first books you'll absolutely love this one.
"Best one yet! But..."
Best Drizzt book so far... But if I have to hear "True enough" one more time... So help me.
"Absolutely pathetic and childish"
Nothing. A much better story would be needed.
Nothing of Salvatore's for sure
Very good and versatile
Disappointment in the utter banality of the story
One dimensional characters, ridiculous and childish concepts of friendship and seriously stupid plot elements. Utterly predictable and completely forgettable.
"love these books!"
the narrator is the best! the books are amazing, if you like fiction and fantasy this book series will make you happy hands down!
"Fix the audio or speak up Victor Bevine"
Ok audio is too soft or loud at times. I blame the audio engineering guys
"awesome fantasy adventure with epic battles"
you'll need to listen to the first book in the trilogy before this.
man what a great story, with great voice acting too! it kept me listening, rapt.
