"Tid Bits and Small details..."
This book only makes sense if you are familiar with the original 6 Jane Yellowrock books. Having said that, this short story helps one see a small Tid Bit into the many layers that make Jane .. Jane.
None as it is a small story that lets us see of what is going on inside the complex mind of Jane.
Listen to the 6 books available in the Jane Yellowrock series and then you will be able to know how exceptionally well Khristine does at not only reading but also at being inside the head of Jane and her panther.
That is an odd question to answer after all the book is only 10 minutes long...
Being a Jane Yellowrock fan, I love finding out all the info I can concerning her and what she went thru to make her the person she is. Being able to take a glimpse of what is primarily only know to the author helps deepen who Jane is and why she does what she does. .
This short gives some background of Jane Yellowrock and how she got her name. It sets the stage for a great series.
"Great flashback of first change."
Also a part of the "Cat o' Nine Tales" collection. A great short story of Jane leaving the children's home and her first change into Beast.
i loved this beginging book story easy to listen to. story backgrownd flowed easily and the motercycle was just icing on the top. 😀
"A Brief Prequel"
Glad to read about adult Jane's first shift to Beast. Wish it also covered first shift back to adult Jane.
The Jane Yellowrock Series is a Great Series to listen to. Just Love Faith Hunter books! Narrator Khristine Hvam is wonderful to listen to and tells the stories so nicely.
I am new to this series and I am glad to see a strong but young character. Is this series one that I will continue most definitely. I have Skinwalker and the collection of short audio books that was on sale. Glad it was because I am sure that I will enjoy those as well.
"Short but sweet"
Is this essential for those who want to know more about Jane and Beast? No. But it was fun to listen to. Would I recommend it. Yes, for nosey busy bodies like me. Most of what is in here is in the series.
In this one Jane does have a bit of a Southern accent which I expected.
Phooey, go ahead and buy it. You want to. I did. And it was fun!
"Short and sweet"
This is a fun short story, but be aware that it is an extract from one of the other books, not a new story.
Also be aware that while some of these 'shorts' are an hour or more long, others are rather less than that.
Very enjoyable listen anyway!
"The Early Years - Not exactly fantasy Novell"
Story is about a Native American that turn into a cat. The story line is boring and once the character turn into cat yet language gets really dumbed down.
Note: I bought two short stories from this series this one was the better of the two the other was totally stupid.
the NARRATOR was fine the script SUCKS. She did a good job at making the cat form sound like a metal retard.
the entire thing was awful
ya don't buy her books if your into fantasy Novels this more like sudo native american folklore tales.
