Like every other citizen of the Federation of Sentient Planets, Lunzie Mespil believed that no harm would come to her, but when the planet pirates attack the space liner on which she is a passenger, she might have to suffer more than just inconvenience.

I am a Reader, love books and never get anything done. Audible books allow me to do things and still enjoy books.
really annoying have read all the other books this was really just a chapter in them. Interesting but not really necessary. As the second book it was a complete waste. I am so disappointed in McCaffrey allowing herself to be party to this type of money grabbing enterprise. Almost as bad as Brooks.
"The correct order of this series"
This series is numbered incorrectly. It should be.
Death of Sleep #1
Generation Warrior #3
If read in this order the series is enjoyable and makes sense.
best way to finish a knitting project is any of the series. My kids know how engrossed I am by how fast the knitting needles go.
This is a great story. It is well written. A fun adventure. The reader did a great job.
"Great story, poor sound levels"
I could easily have wished that Ms. Michaels had read for all three volumes of this trilogy.
I loved the story and with one exception the narrator got pronunciation and accents just right. My only complaint was that even with my tablet volume on extreme high the sound levels were so low it was difficult to hear if there was any ambient background noise.
"Fell Short of its Potential"
This book started with an interesting premise, but it all went downhill from there. The woman gets stranded in time several times due to cold sleep malfunction, which is so extremely unlikely that is sticks out as the mere plot point that it is. Secondly, the story fails to deliver audience expectation - that is, does she get reunited with her daughter? At first we see she'll do whatever it takes to find her, then halfway through the book she inexplicably gives up. After that the novel makes no sense, as the plot tries to go in a new direction, which was a totally bad idea, and fails anyway. I got very lost and bored and listened to most if the book on double speed just to get through it.
"What happened next?"
There has got to be a sequel to this book, or I shall spend
the rest of my life worrying!
