Während der Widerstand der Menschen seine ersten Erfolge im Kampf gegen die Besatzer erringt, macht sich Rhodan daran, den Auftrag von Rhodanos zu erfüllen. Rhodanos - so nannte sich sein Duplikat, und dieser Mensch ist verstorben. Vor seinem Tod gab er Hinweise, und jetzt muss Perry Rhodan den Puppen Callibsos folgen...
