It's time for revenge. Zed's animosity toward Mark has been simmering through the deaths of too many of his friends. Zed realizes he can no longer pretend he's able to take the high road and rise above his hate. He sets out to track the horde of naked Whites in order to find Mark and kill him.
Of course, none of Zed's schemes work out as planned. See what kind of trouble he and Murphy get into in Slow Burn: Grind.

"Ending was kind of anti-climactic."
Love Zed, he stays on something obsessively. can't wait for the next installment. I miss Murphy's laugh... heh heh heh
well written and read. looking forawrd to the next. very cool knowing the places the author is writing of.
The story keeps me cheering for Zed to finally realize he is a hero or at least a better person than he thinks he is. The narrator Change from books 6 to 7 would seem odd and risky if it were not Sean Runnette he is the best at this genre and goes perfectly with Zeus demonstrated personality. Just great can't wait to hear book 9
"Love the series."
This book like the ones before it was great and after a bit, I grew to love Mr. Runettes's narration.
I love this book series, however book 8 is quiet boring not because of the story line, but because of the narrator with his monotone voice is killing me and the story...Bring back the original narrator Jason Damron!!!!!! Pleaseeeeeeee!
Just needed original narrator, keep thing I was listening to Zombie Fallout by Mark Tufo.
"great story...narration no so much"
Another strong book in the series. another poor performance from the new narrator. hope for a return of the original one for book 9
