Gods walk the Realms!
Rising up from the black depths of the Underdark, the drow once more meet the dwarves of Mithral Hall. Bruenor Battlehammer, with Drizzt at his side, won't go down without a fight - but they'll have to fight without Wulfgar or Catti-brie at their sides.

"Love the characters"
Never get bored well paced
Yes he is a great reader and hope to find more books by him to enjoy
Will be a story/series I will share with friends and family for years
Love the book and the format! Would prefer to have an author that used more common (to me) dialogue for words like "bade", but that may be more an American colloquialism.
"Great book, narration audio mix seemed off"
Loved the story, the only thing that bothered me was the audio mix. I had to set my stereo with negative bass and turn it really high during the softer spoken parts where the narrator was emphasizing emotion. The highs and lows were lacking compression. If you can get passed all this I would recommend it.
"This knd was kind of all over."
Still well worth the credit still classic Salvatore, I just have been in the under datk for too long and am tired of this house and that mother. but there is much more too it. the performance painted a picture as vivid as a HD TV the story was long the way i like Salvatore storys. the lady of Silver gets her hands dirty and shows she just aint another hottie.
as always R.A. Salvatore creates a great world with vivid scenes, a great vast of characters and supporting ones and a story which you can cheer for out loud.
"Another enthralling tale to wet your whistle..."
Yet again, my favorite author takes us through a tale of near death, consequential love, and the dramatic for the hidden schemes of those involved till just the right moment! Keep up the great work my friend!
Great story, the battles are well written and very exciting. Another gem from this fantastic author.
"Perfect Narrator - Slightly lacking story"
It's difficult to review these stories without giving spoilers. Suffice it to say that it was a great coming together of characters with a rather predictable outcome. Saying that the writing was done well and the narrator is easily my favorite and should always narrate Salvatore's books
I love Victorville being I love all of these books they are wonderful. You definitely should listen to this. Now
Develop the story line significantly. Books are supposed to tell stories not just chronicle make believe battles.
Yes, and this one is on par with his other work.
I have enjoyed the other books in this series but found this one lacking. There is little story. Most of the book is about one battle. I found listening to hour upon hour of battle sequences rather boring. Usually the author integrates the battles with the story line and the conflicts tend to move the story along. In other words, normally they are integral to the story. In this book there really is very little story line. One could probably even skip this book and not miss too much.
