Wintrow has liberated She Who Remembers and she can at last fulfil her ancient purpose, but in doing so he has been terribly injured. If Wintrow dies, Kennit fears that Vivacia will lose her fragile sanity: a loss that will also threaten his dreams of power and glory. So he strikes a deal with the ship. And soon the waters around the Vivacia are seething with giant serpents, following the liveship as it sails to its destiny.

Excellent story - worth persevering
In other reviews of books in this trilogy I've said that I have difficulty enjoying this narrator however in this final book I was able to enjoy the story without noticing her style. Probably I've gotten used to her. I would still recommend this trilogy though as it is a great part of the overall story.

Incredible story, narrated poorly
This needs to be recorded again with a different narrator. Characters change accents, there are many errors with emphasis on wrong words because the narrator hasn’t understood the line, and it’s terribly inconsistent.
Which is especially tragic because the content itself is some of the best fantasy writing I’ve ever experienced. A beautiful story and Robin has totally fixed the pacing issues that were my only complaint about her prior Farseer trilogy (which is read by a much more competent narrator ).

Good Read/Listen
If you’re this far into the series than you’ve got to like it! Although I noticed that about 13:28 minutes into Chapter 19, there is a glitch in the reading and it cuts out briefly

Phenomenal character crafting and interwoven plotlines
Robin Hobb’s writing has developed greatly from the farseer trilogy. Initially I was apprehensive at the pacing and style of the first book of the liveship traders trilogy, but WOW, I was impressed beyond my expectations. It all came together beautifully in this thoroughly engaging read of Ship of Destiny. Rich characters with worthy motivations and many arcs I’m keen to hear more about in the stories that follow!

in-depth and intricate story
such a good story to listen too
so many characters weave in and out of each other and the way that fate plays a role is awesome. haven't finished it yet but one hell of a story so far

Robin Hobb can do no wrong, another sensational series that I've read multiple times.

Awesome book, terrible narration
The story in this series kept me going but Anne Flosnik's voice was so grating. And she should definitely never, ever sing.
However. The story itself is brilliant, and the characters are realistic and well rounded.
