The end of the world begins at dawn, when the sun rises later than it should. Then the holes appear. The first forms in Central Park, within sight of an apartment where Repairman Jack and a man as old as time watch with growing dread. Gaping holes, bottomless and empty…until sundown, when the first unearthly, hungry creatures appear.
Nightworld brings F. Paul Wilson’s Adversary Cycle and Repairman Jack saga to an apocalyptic finale as Jack and Glaeken search the Secret History to gather a ragtag army for a last stand against the Otherness and a hideously transformed Rasalom.

"If this ever happened you would be terrified!"
Never read the print version but enjoyed listening to this book!!
Glaken, was my favorite character. Old and dedicated to his wife, and to the cause.
Allen fighting the chew bugs and centipedes trying to be quiet so his wife and son would here him die!! He was a hero!!
When Kolabati finally realized that Jack wasn't lying about what was happen in the world and she took off her necklace and laid down and asked Glaken to stay with her as she passed on. Bill and Carol's reunion and love making was pretty good too.
"Overall, a fantastic series. Thank you FPW!!!"
This ends the Repairman Jack series for me. One of my favorites that I burn through annually. Christopher Price is the voice I prefer for Jack & he does an amazing job with the rest. The only bummer in this book is the mispronounced Hawaiian words. It's painful for me to listen to. I try to ignore it but I can't, it's bad. Wasn't a problem when I was reading it. I'll still listen to it & just cringe my way through.
I had read this book about 10 years ago and only remembered the parts about the bugs. I really liked the characters and the way they were brought together. I also really like the way the "forces in the universe" were explained.
"is there going to be more Repair man Jack"
I sure hope so. look like I am fixed on RJ repairs I hope he be back because I'm sure Rasalon will find way to get back and it's jack's job to run him away again.....I sure hope so 16...17......18th books
"Strong Start, Dull Finish"
Dispite the ongoing hatred I have for Willsons injection of "The Otherness" into what would have otherwise been a phenomenal franchise of Repair Man Jack and his fixes, this book kept pace and interest for most of the story. Sadly, the anticlimactic end drags on and on to a point where you don't really care if a Racoshi jumps out and castrates Jack and Glaken together, as long as a conclusion is reached.
If you've made it through the series, you have to read this one. If not, pick up Cold City and Dark Cuty, it's all Jack and Fixes (with a few Annoyances).
"My Favorite F. Paul Wilson"
I have read several of Wilson's novels, and have always thought they were okay. Nightworld was much more engaging for me. It is character-rich, and definately has more action and fantasy/supernatural than his other books I have read. I think this one is worth a credit.
"A good read"
As the ending to the Adversary Cycle and Repairman Jack stories it closes the series very well.
Jack, being torn between his family and his part in the fight make him an excellent character,.
Pretty much all of them, the voice acting was excellent
A very good book, its not a stand alone one, and requires at least reading the Adversary Cycle . With the wealth of characters from previous stories of the Repairman Jack stories it finishes things off very nicely.
the story was very well written and a good climax to the previous books shame it had to end
all of it and remembering what happened in in the previous books
I think abe was very good and humerous in some parts
yes most definatly my husband and I listened to it in bed and didn't want to go to sleep
a very good book to go with all the others and jack books that are involved aswell
