The winds of time have become a storm, and things that everyone believes are fixed in place forever are changing before their eyes. Even the White Tower itself is no longer a place of safety. Now Rand, Perrin and Mat, Egwene and Elayne, Nynaeve and Lan, and even Loial, must ride those storm winds, or the Dark One will triumph.

"Explodes with motion, as multiple plot lines either conclude or advance, and the march to Tarmon Gai'don, the climactic last battle between the Dragon Reborn and the Dark One, begins in earnest." (Publishers Weekly)
"The battle scenes have the breathless urgency of firsthand experience, and the...evil laced into the forces of good, the dangers latent in any promised salvation, the sense of the unavoidable onslaught of unpredictable events bear the marks of American national experience during the last three decades." (The New York Times)
"Jordan has a powerful vision of good and evil, but what strikes me as most pleasurable...is all the fascinating people moving through a rich and interesting world." (Orson Scott Card)
While the overall story was still entertaining, frequent audio issues such as quality degradation, skipping and repetitions really ruined my experience in some parts.
none. Nobody can hear this out... unintelligilbe mumbling...no nuances... inflextion....
droning droning droning....
Please dont ever let these Narrators narrate anything more than an elevator intercom.
"good book. ok audiobook."
some problems with the sound cutting in and out. the voice acting was good. 1 more word.
"Skips and sputters"
The audio skips fairly regularly. Not often, but it skips like a scratched CD at times. Frustrating. The story and orators are as excellent as ever though.
"Lot's of errors in the recording!"
i loved the story, but the recording skipped a lot! that made it hard to follow at times. rather disappointed I that.
"Heating up....climaxes and the Lord of chaos build"
The story builds to a mighty crescendo in which the Lord of chaos is beginning to rule ... even in the hearts of our hero??? Read to learn Rand's fate! Mat, you scoundrel, you're a bloody nobleman now....LIGHT!
"Excellent if broken form for the Wheel Time"
This of all the books requires the most faith in the story to get. Too bad more wasn't made of Matt's wedding.
needs to be reuploaded. poor quality, many skips in dialogue and chapters. live the series
The audio copy had several skips during its run. The story itself was engaging and a wonderful entry in the series.
"Really loved this story."
I knew this was going to be Robert Jordans last book he wrote in the series weather he did or not he was able to finish a lot of story lines and answer a lot of questions to the plot I had. I am looking forward to Sandersons books but Jordan finished his portion of the story perfectly.
the audio skipped a ton in the book. this is a digital format why did it skip full sentences or paragraphs?! I was super annoyed by this. I didnt mark the locations where this happened as I was either driving or doing yard work when I noticed and I do not want to stop write down where this was. just be warned audio skips probably 5 or 6 times through the story.
"Recording is choppy at points."
Have listened to the same parts on multiple devices and get the same choppy almost static. It's annoying. Otherwise, excellent.
This booked saved the series for me! I almost gave up on the wheel of time after Crossroads of Twilight, but this one turned it all around and brought me back to what I love about Jordan's books.
