Publisher's Summary

In this incredible sequel to Pandora's Star, the Commonwealth Saga goes out with a bang. Judas Unchained is a stunning, expansive space opera from one of the world's bestselling science fiction writers, Peter F. Hamilton.

Our worlds are under invasion – and only the impossible can save us now . . .

Over hundreds of years, the human race has been manipulated into starting a war. And it's one that could destroy our entire civilization. Chief Investigator Paula Myo is nominated to hunt the creature behind this ploy, while our invasion continues and multiple worlds fall to the enemy. In response, Admiral Kime commands humanity's defense, marshaling war-ready super-weapons. Yet he discovers his adversaries wield equally powerful armaments.

The question is – where did these come from? Has the Commonwealth's top-secret defense project been compromised, or is the truth even worse than we can imagine?

The Commonwealth Saga duology starts with Pandora's Star.

Really great detail!

This series of books is amazing! The detail that the writer goes into paints such a good picture. Well worth it.

good read

Don't think narrator reflected the books attitude with his voice, also was surprised at the storyline which I thought would be more compelling. overall, this author does a great job at bringing this reality to life, but the universe he created and the story had more potential...

Kazablanka

Simply fantastic. The imagination of the author and the sheer depth of the story leaves other science fiction for dead. Loved the character accents by the performer.

Epic Space Opera with plenty for the tech heads

Excellent sequel and conclusion. This story covers a galaxy full of intrigue and adventure. The techno-babble can be a bit rough to wade through at times, but the world(s) and characters built here feel real and are a joy to explore.

Very Low Sound Volume

The volume of this book is so low that any background noise will override the narration.

Brilliant

A fitting end to a great saga. I have just finished this series for a second time now and enjoyed it just as much as the first. Scfi at it’s best.

Fantastic story, underwhelming performance.

A truly fascinating follow up to Pandora’s Star. I found the narration problematic in that Mr Lee doesn’t distinguish well between different characters, despite being able to do a myriad of accents well. With such a fast pace it made keeping up a bit difficult. Otherwise, a very enjoyable listen.

well worth the time and credit.

a very visual listen. tho can get bogged down in excessive geographical descriptions and politics spanning 2/3 of a chapter at times, quite easy to lose concentration.
epic story if you follow thru and well worth the read just maybe not for the reader/listener that expects a more action filled space battle. I will complete this 'commonwealth saga'
and read more of his books.

good narrator with good accents and a clear voice tho if you listen for am extended period of time you will begin to hear a static ringing in the background, resonant hum. not tinitis!
more a recording issue. volume drastically increases near the last quarter of the book around chapter 13-14
