Maybe it'll take a criminal to succeed where honest men have failed, or maybe it's a death sentence either way. Or perhaps there's a shot at redemption in the mad world of the mail, waiting for a man who's prepared to push the envelope.

"British fantasist Pratchett's latest special-delivery delight, set in his wonderfully crazed city of Ankh-Morpork, hilariously reflects the plight of post offices the world over as they struggle to compete in an era when e-mail has stolen much of the glamour from the postal trade." (Publishers Weekly)
"His world, increasingly subtle and thoughtful, has become as allegorical and satirical as a painting by Bosch....Pratchett's joy in his creations, in jokes, puns, the idea of letters and language itself makes Going Postal one of the best expressions of his unstoppable flow of comic invention." (The Times)

I don?t know what Graham of Reigate is listening to, it's certainly not Going Postal read by Tony Robinson, we are quite worried about him and suggest he goes to the Doctors; he may have a ear infection. Terry Pratchett and Tony Robinson go together like Nanny Ogg & Granny Weatherwax.
LOVE Terry pratchett and his disc world and it's only made better by Tony Robinson narrative
"Pratchett at hid best"
Probably the best of the DiscWorld novels, with added value from Tony Robinson's excellent reading.
I am a fan of Terry Pratchett books and found this one a good new angle on the diskworld series. Tony's reading was good, perfect for listening to on my commute
"Dont miss the post....."
Pratchett at his best with a great tale of a swindler put in charge of the post office. Follow Moist von Lipwig as he is thrust into the mess that is the postal service and how he turns its fortunes around. Fantastic storyline with amusing plots, twists and turns.
PS If you like this also get Making Money which is even better!
"Great book, shame about the reading"
This is a wonderful book, witty, entertaining, with some sparkling ideas it is generally great fun. But the reading is awful and in an audio book that is fairly important! Much of the time you cant differentiate between voices and when you can, rather often you are cringing at the dreadful accent. My advice is: pay the extra and get a better version. Robinson may have made a great Baldrick but he lacks the voice range and/or the imagination to do justice to this excellent book
