not as good as her first one
this was a great idea for a story but the bulk of it was slow going and slow burning as they continued to walk in circles. the alternate story of the hero and heroine kept the earphones in but it was a bit tedious and I wanted it to hurry along.
what I did love was the secondary characters in book one come to light in this book. it was wonderful....I had trouble liking the male secondary character both in this book and book one and I wanted to give his heroine a gold star for putting up with him...and although he redeems himself in this book it's with a begrudging respect that I let him....
unlike the first book, I figured out the ending and the whodunnit so there wasn't a refreshing suprise like her previous novel.
the angst wasn't a strong in this story but the romance was as was the bit of steam. ...
there was a few unanswered thoughts and emotions at the end of this book which kinda disappointed me as Ms O'Shea can write it well but I felt she rushed this finale through.
Alex did a great job with narration and voice change and I'd listen to her again.
all in all the storyline was good but it was slow moving.
