Alpha Team Battles Its Greatest Nemesis
With Juice in heavy contact on the do-or-die shore mission, Ali in a blistering sniper duel over the South Atlantic, and Homer all alone and massively outnumbered deep beneath the keel of the JFK, the Alpha operators are in the fight of their lives - against tactically outstanding, pain-invulnerable, and utterly merciless Spetsnaz commandos and with no guarantees about who will be left standing at the end....
The JFK Clings to Survival
Perilously low on ammo, fuel, planes, pilots, and options, and seemingly outmaneuvered at every turn, the beleaguered John F. Kennedy engages in a lethal game of cat and mouse with the gigantic and weapons-bristling Russian battlecruiser - with not just their lives on the line but the lives of everyone on the planet....
One Troop Fights Furiously to Hold the Center
As London comes under unrelenting siege, Jameson and the Royal Marines face down a lightning-fast and terrifyingly uncontrolled outbreak in CentCom's Strategic Command Center - the beating heart of humanity's last defenses against the dead - and with no one but them standing in the way of total collapse and utter devastation....

Loved the story but sometimes the story gets so depressing where everything and more goes wrong and you want to yell out in frustration. The pace of the story would have been better if it was increased in those times I think.
"shame on you for milking a great story"
7 & 8 should have been one story way to punish your loyal readers. Not cool
"Probably won't start another Fuchs james series"
Great story, but author seems to be more into quantity of books than quality. the first few books could stand on their own. but the last 5 should have been condensed into two.. don't get me wrong I really enjoy the story but lately after every book I kinda feel cheated. Being committed to the story, I will put up with the that feeling. but I will not be investing in anymore of Fuchs or James new series. It's sad because they write a good yarn.
"Probably time to focus on quality not quantity."
I genuinely loved the first six books. I've felt the latter ones, this included, are sticking too much to a single event and just dragging it on and on. We're starting to pass immersion and move to gratuitous. I believe that book 7/8 probably should have been one single book. I'm afraid for the series in that quantity , although the books seem to be getting shorter and shorter , is now in demand of a publisher and is causing quality to suffer.
I'll stick with the series for the two more books but if there are any more to complete the entire tale they're going to have to recover some mojo of the earlier books in the series.
"awsome, story more!!!"
this is killing me please get the next one done soon, can't wait for the mog!!!
Was hoping book 8 would make up for book 7. Now I just want it to end.
"one of the best series ever"
I challenge anyone to put this series down. great story, strong characters. RC Bray one of the best if not the best narrator out there.
"ur kidding chapter 10 is word for word"
of chapter 7.. what a shame
ruining a great story. .. with this book... book 7 was short an here it is again... don't bother buying book 7 just go to book 8
ive just been Fuchs & james
I'm all for making an easy buck but come on guys was two books for 7 and 8 necessary? you're better than that.
"Great story and performance"
Great story and performance as expected BUT book 7 and 8 should've been one installment.
"love this series "
love this series. the narrator takes you right into the story.i find myself looking over my shoulder when listening to. awesome awesome story
"As Good as Anything Before It In This Series"
At the end of the previous book (Death of Empires) I was quite worried that this series was starting to meander and lose its way. Too much character introspection, seemingly pointless flashbacks and scarcely any progression of the story. It seemed a shame as I’ve long regarded this series as something of a guilty pleasure. It had non-stop action, tough, detailed characters and an interesting take on the zombie genre but the slow, seemingly disjointed pace of that previous book put considerable doubts in my mind.
So, would Death of Empires mark the death of a fine series? Hell no! This is as good as anything that has gone before it. The action concentrates a bit more on human opponents in the shape of Russian special forces but don’t worry the Dead have their say too. It continues at breakneck speed in the air, under the water and on land. It spans continents and oceans. This book really is a breathtaking achievement and I doubt many will need me to tell them that the narration by R.C. Bray is a masterclass of urgent, post-apocalyptic story-telling. Does anyone do this much better?
A final tempting thought at the time of writing is that once again the production ends with a teaser of the next book in the series. Does this mean we won’t have to wait too long for the next one? I for one can’t wait.
Pure and utter brilliance !
This series just can't stop getting more suspenseful, nerve shredding, and brilliantly funny in places .
Oh and I love Gunny Fik
This defo picks up the pace once more, nothing that the operators go through here is easy. And it's action packed once again.
From the JFK fighting for its life against the Russian cruiser, to which the injured command lets the ship down in the biggest way, once again not believing what he's told about the Russian's and their own operators, thank goodness for Homer, what a guy. And some just totally on the edge scenes.
I really, also enjoyed the UK scenes in here, I think and believe this is exactly how London might fall in the ZA. It's just so almost true you really can believe it, and of course, One Troop really do fight tooth and nail, almost as much as the operators.
Excellent listen and sped through these like a demon. :) (where is the next books 11 and 12) haha
"Wow what a epic story gets better and better"
Bringing in the Russians was a very good mix in the ZA series. This could be the best one yet in this ZA series !! I don't want the series to end. The drama, twits and cliff hangers get better and better! Wow a must read for any Zombie fan!
"Non stop excitement"
I was simply glued to R. C. Bray. A brilliant narrator telling a brilliant story. Thank you so much.
Absolutely brilliant series, with R. C Bray brining to whole story to life.
I have listened to every book so far and found I am completely engrossed with every step the story takes.
"Greatest Zombie series yet"
This anthology never loses pace it is a fantastic zombie series. Full of bad ass characters and plenty of geeky references.
Underwater battles with the Spetznaz. Wow!
The narrator is great, every character sounds unique and his voice is easy to listen to.
Shock and awe.
"R.C. Bray owns it yet again"
Another solid addition to the series, R.C. Bray continues to kick ass as the natator
"A genre I enjoy"
I have enjoyed this series. A slightly different perspective than some of the other books in this genre, it is a lot more military, but enough personality remains to make the characters interesting.
brilliant! can't wait for the next instalment. just a shame they take a long time to come out
