I quiet enjoyed all the books. Though unlike others I really didn't like Michellle Ryan's reading. I thought David did a fantastic job, just like his whacky self on the shows. Catherine I also thought did ok. I think her version of reading was just as her character as well.
I think my Favourite story was The Last Voyage. Quiet a tangled story with the usual Whovian twists
This books (books) are amazing!!!! Especially read by David tennant wow literally the best books ever!!!!
David Tennant and Catherine Tate are amazing. the stories are amazing.... I will be listening to this again.... probably multiple times. ;-)
"Favorite Doctor, great stories."
I loved this collection! Ten is my favorite Doctor and he doesn't disappoint. These adventures are fun and exciting. A few people mentioned that they didn't like Catherine Tate's narration, but I don't know what the problem was. I loved it! But then, Donna is my favorite companion too, so I may be biased. But I've heard many bad narrators in my time listening to audiobooks, and she isn't one. Bottom line: Well worth the credit!
"loved getting just a little bit more 10th doctor"
I really liked hearing Davis Tennant narrating in his Scottish accent and then doing the doctor in the doctor's voice
"I love Doctor Who"
and to hear my doctor reading was an amazing year. this was worth the subscription
"It's Doctor Who"
And that's all it really needs to be, it's good, it's interesting, it's just good.
"I wish they made them into TV episodes!"
So good and you get to hear Davids silky voice :) definitely a good buy.
If you enjoyed the 10th Doctor, you'll love this. Also just fantastic performances all around.
David Tennant did great job; Catherine Tate's reading made me seriously question how on earth she landed the job for series.... And she narrates quite few painful chapters... So so bad. And she's my favorite companion! 😳
"rating 5 stars most excellent narration"
excellent compilation of doctor stories. Captures the classic humor and character interactions. Surprisingly fabulous reading by Catherine Tate. David Tennant was up to his usual superb an worth checking out his other works. Michelle Ryan the surprising performance should be checked into to see how much other reason she has done an overall rating of five stars
Technical issue: Part 2 starts as a repeat of half of the first story from Part 1. This makes the whole audiobook shorter than advertised a difficult to listen to.
"Some repeats here"
Hearing David Tennant's voice again
The Doctor, of course.
You should be aware that at least two of the stories have appeared before as single audiobooks. One star withheld for not making that clear!
This audiobook was amazing. The stories were amazing- the narration was superb (David Tennant is the best!) and the sound effects are really good. Overall, a great audiobook. It was definitely a good buy and I reccomend it.
"BBC at its best"
Wonderful variety filling in the missed time in the tardis the doctors stories beyond the TV series. Creepy scary funny everything that we love about David Tennants version of the iconic Doctor!
"David Tennant is FANTASTIC - stories 1, 4, 5"
DT does a better Donna Noble than Catherine Tate in story one! new stories soon?
