Nur wenige Verstecke in der Milchstraße sind noch "frei". Dazu gehören die Erde und die anderen Planeten des Solsystems, die sich hinter dem TERRANOVA-Schirm verbergen.
TRAITOR steht im Dienst der sogenannten Chaotarchen. Deren Ziel ist, aus den Welten der Milchstraße einen Chaotender zu formen und damit die Existenz der Negasphäre abzusichern, die in der Nachbargalaxis Hangay entsteht. Gewöhnliche Lebewesen können in einer Negasphäre nicht existieren, auch sind alle Naturgesetze an solch einem Ort außer Kraft gesetzt.
Perry Rhodan weiß allerdings, dass vor zwanzig Millionen Jahren schon einmal eine Negasphäre verhindert werden konnte. Deshalb startet er mit dem neuen Raumschiff JULES VERNE auf eine Reise in die Vergangenheit - in der Milchstraße, die damals als Phariske-Erigon bekannt war, wartet DER GESETZ-GEBER...
