Publisher's Summary

Ripley Gaines, a brilliant archaeologist, has spent his life searching for an elusive artifact to prove his controversial theory. What he finds shocks even him. The discovery rewrites human history and promises to change the planet's future. It has to be suppressed.

The most powerful forces in the world align against him, and a deadly competition for the artifact ensues. Capturing Gaines is not enough; he, and everyone who has seen the artifact, must be killed. His only hope is to stay alive long enough to decode the Cosega Sequence.

    Story
    "A very good start.."
What made the experience of listening to Cosega Search the most enjoyable?

The narrator Danny Campbell did a great job in keeping the story going. Story itself was very slow to start but once it get going it was very good.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Cosega Search?

I don't think one moment stands out but the story does have a lot of promise. With an ancient secret involving the Catholic church, an alien race that existed before humanity and a conspiracy at the very top of US government.

What about Danny Campbell’s performance did you like?

Well narrated and he was able to give every character their own voice. Like I mentioned before, the story start slow and Mr. Campbell kept me from turning the story off.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, once the story picked up the story was very fast pace.

    Any additional comments?

This would have easily been a 5 star overall but because of how the story was so abruptly ended that it left me wondering if I missed something. I went back and listened to the last 10 minute of the story again and nope didn't miss anything, it's just a HUGE cliff hanger.

    Story
    "Interesting premise"

I'm not sure where we're going from here. Not sure that I'm going to go. Doesn't move quickly. Interesting characters but didn't feel as if I got to know them before they were killed off.

    Story
"Another Author who doesn't know how to end a story"
What disappointed you about Cosega Search?

A character in the story says all stories have a beginning, middle and end but then this author, in the middle of the story says The End. I'm guessing to get reader/listeners to buy the next book, Not Happening!

What was most disappointing about Brandt Legg’s story?

    No finish to the story!

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Cosega Search?

I would require the author finish this story.

    Any additional comments?

I certainly won't buy any more of this author's books.

    Story
    "worth reading"

I found the story interesting and the premise intriguing. However some of the some of the passages would best be omitted as redundant.

    Story
"Way too many political views for a SciFi"

This author injects political viewpoints and stereotypes that don't belong in what is a SciFi book. I got up to the point where the agent let the co-conspirator go. Waste of money.

"Ok, just didn't grab me. "

It was enjoyable, but didn't entice me to go to next book. Not terrible though.

    Story
    "So, so stupid..."

A wannabe DaVinci Code, Indiana Jones, and Clive Cussler without aptitude. It's a one volume story that the greedy author broke into 3 or 4 short audio books for the obvious reason to make money. At least the former superior authors/screenplays could tell a self-contained story.
