Publisher's Summary
Simon Lewis is having some trouble adjusting to his new life as a vampire, especially now that he hardly sees his best friend Clary, who is caught up in training to be a Shadowhunter - and spending time with her new boyfriend, Jace. Simon decides he needs a break and heads out of the city - only to discover that sinister events are following him. two narrators interrupted the flow
I enjoyed the 4th book in the series although the story didn't feel as cohesive as the previous 3. I find the dual narrators distracting and when they changed over it took me it off the story. I also found some of the pronunciations irritating as they were different (Armitace and Stele the big two)

So disappointing
As the first installation of the send trilogy arc, I got 5 chapters in and had to return to the audiobook.
The readers do not do the story any justice. Both Ed and Molly had a"I really can't be bothered" tone to their voices which isn't what is needed when you have some tense moments. While switching narrators for Clary and Simon's parts was a good idea, the lack of emotion really jarred. I'm hoping there's a bit more life and feeling to book 5.

The 2 narrators are not in sync
The male narrator is great but the female narrator doesn't have a lot of distinction between characters.

Amazing by Ed Westwick. Great story.
Amazing by Ed Westwick. If he read the whole book I would have given 5 stars in every Category. Unfortunately Molly C. Quinn ruined the story for me with her cringeworthy performance. She narrated the story like a teenage girl constantly on the verge of tears; I felt a great sense of relief when her chapters finished and Ed Westwick took over.

Too many narrator's
Great books however its unfortunate the keep changing narrator's. The story itself is worth persevering for.

Nice story but...
I enjoyed the next instalment of the saga but I did not enjoy the male narrator. His speech and accent were not clear enough to be able to listen to his chapters with earphones in noisy environments like trains, city streets etc.

Two voices. One story
Having two voices was a perfect way to tell this story. The fourth book follows both Clary and Simon and to have the distinction in the story by having a female and male voice made it easy to follow. Loved it

Amazing book
The book is amazing. I read the physical book as a teenager but got the audio book to listen to again as an adult. I’ve found every single female narrator for this series so far to be awful, however this female
Author is the worst I have ever heard. Her voice is so whiney and she can’t differentiate between characters and pronounces all the authors words like stele and alacante etc completely wrong. Ed wear wick was good.
However doing one chapter by one narrator and then change to the other for every single chapter. Drove me insane

Narration let this down. I love this series
Love this series, but I was seriously annoyed at the narration. Please change for next book.
