Publisher's Summary

When two worlds collide…

Jack Walker and Michael Talbot come from two worlds; the same, yet different. They both find themselves transported into an alien one, where things aren’t as they seem. While it appears similar to the ones they come from, there are some terrifying differences. Is it a dream? Or has reality been somehow warped?

Jack comes from a world filled with nocturnal creatures that were once human, but now seek to destroy the last vestiges of humanity. Mike, living under a constant threat from hordes of the undead, arrives with a companion, John the Tripper. Ripped away from their family members and thrown into the unknown, they find that the nightmares from their worlds have preceded them. Survival becomes moment to moment as they encounter old dangers, and new.

Each wants nothing more than to be reunited with their loved ones. With dangers lurking around every corner, they seek to unravel the mystery that brought them. It may be a long road ahead, but they begin by taking the first step, hoping the next one will be the one that takes them home.

A great series setting book.

I've listened to all of Marks other books and also have read / listened to a few of the John O'Brien's new world series books.

Sean does a great job narrating all of Marks books and the same goes with John's character 'Jack' I've listened to the narrator of John's books and in my opinion he butchers it and I lost interest in that series. However with Sean's narration it's making me want to give John's series another go as it has revitalised the character for me.

KEEP in mind this is a series setting book, both characters are introduced in a unique way and all this book does is set the tone for the series, with some fun Antics along the way especially from trip. loved this books and cannot wait for the more exciting build up sequels this book has lead up too.

Loved it

This is a great book, Though saying that it seems the combination of Mark Tufo & Narrator
Sean Runnette are an unstoppable duo when it comes to Marks books, cant wait for the next one. John O'Brien who I have never read seems to be a great author too. The book took a few chapters to get going and I felt I wasted money, But then all of a sudden the relevance of the first few chapters tied into the story GREAT BOOK, Thanks Guys

Not one of Marks best books

To be honest I was disappointed with this book, I've listened to almost everyone of his other books, and couldn't put them down. This one I just couldn't get into the swing of, in actual fact I was looking forward to the end, just so I could finish and move onto the next. It just seemed that nothing happened. A real shame but then again I am comparing to all his other series which are outstanding work both written and narrated, maybe because it was co-written this could have something to do with it. But I haven't lost hope too many good pieces of work to get discouraged, anyway looking forward to starting Callis Rose.
