Priceless, book one: "My name is Rylee, and I am a Tracker." When children go missing and the Humans have no leads, I'm the one they call. I am their last hope in bringing home the lost ones. I salvage what they cannot. I'm on the FBI's wanted list. I have a werewolf for a pet, a Witch of a best friend, and no need for anyone else in my life. But when a salvage starts to spin out of control, help comes from a most unexpected direction. One that is dangerously dark and brooding and doesn't know a thing about the supernatural. One whose kisses set me on fire.
Immune, book two: Underestimating demons is a bad idea, and it's a mistake that may cost not only my life but the life of a missing child. If I can swallow my pride and allow Agent O'Shea to help me find a way to deal with the demon, we might be able to save the child. With this salvage, it's a race against time, a test of trust, and a temptation that I'm doing my damndest to ignore. If only swallowing my pride and ignoring temptation were that easy.
Raising Innocence, book three: The FBI wants me on their team. Bad enough that they are dangling bait they know I can't resist. The catch? It's on the other side of the ocean. And if I want what they're offering, I have to help them with a salvage gone terribly, terribly wrong. But this time I have no backup. I have no plan B. And I have no O'Shea.

I can't get enough of Rylee Adamson the tracker and her band of friends (grins) she is a kick ass heroine with a potty mouth and sharp wit and sharper swords ;) she is just a treasure and i love her and her side kicks. Emma Galvin you are amazing and funny, you bring Rylee to life and make her flys :P
Loved first reading the series and loved listening to the narrative. I can not wait until the rest of the installations are added to audible so I can own them all here too! Looks like I'll be rereading books four onwards the old fashioned way again it was so good :-D
"First 3 books"
Absolutely love this series. Rylee's story is captivating & on the edge of your seat thrilling! Great character development, storyline, & plot. Wish the narrotor had more voices/ranges than she does and maybe a bit more maturity to her voice (at times she sounds like a teen reading the book vs. a mature adult) but overall she did well!
"Voice does not match story."
the narrator sounds like a teenager. It skews the story tone. Riley is strong. The narrator is not. It isn't an unpleasant voice, it just doesn't go with THIS book.
"A very entertaning paranormal read..."
I was recommended this book by a friend saying it is 3 books in one and an excellent story to boot! My friend was correct (Thank you Elizabeth). This paranormal read has vampires, werewolves, zombies, witches and so on...
Children keep disappearing. Specially terminally ill children. They disappear with out a trace straight from the hospital. It takes Rylee and friends to investigate, along with the FBI special unit (S.O.C.A.). My favorite character in all 3 of these books is Alex, the talking werewolf. I love his character and his behavior! Rylee has her hands full in these books and never a dull moment.
I won't go into detail of any of these books so I don't spoil the stories. I write the review this was because the audio book I am reviewing is books 1 thru 3 combined. Also this book collection is 19+ hours long. I love long books!
In Book 1) Priceless: We meet and get to know a bunch of characters and family too. We learn Rylee is a tracker and her wolf /dog Alex, is really a werewolf. We get background of family happening s and also how Rylee got to be were she is in the book.
In book 2) Immune: We start meeting the paranormal characters and details leading to missing children and why a tracker is needed. It turns out trackers are immune to other magic, bites and so on...
In book 3) Raising Innocence: Rylee and Alex are heading to England to track some undesirables and many missing children. Here Rylee becomes a mentor too.
The author, Shannon Mayer did a fantastic job on this series of books. The plot is wild & the descriptions are breath taking. I have truly enjoyed listening to this series and we definitely got a HUGE bang for our $$$ on this book! The narrator, Emma Gaylin delivered a perfectly flawless narration to us complete with accents, multiple voices and tons of emotions! What a wonderful story this book turned out to be! For anyone looking for a great paranormal story that will entertain for hours and hours, this is your book!
"story was okay narrator was the worst ever"
story was forced and kinda boring. the climatic scenes sucked. nothing like Anita Blake Vampire Hunter. some review said it was so I tried these. but this book isn't as good at all. the author just isn't talented enough. it was okay though. if the narrator hadn't been God awful like nails on chalkboard and horrible fake accents I would have given the book 4 stars. maybe.
"Rylee Adamson come to life"
The Rylee Adamson series is a heart pounding thrill ride filled with danger, desire, magic, and adventure. Now we can hear Rylee tell her story. Vampires, werewolfs, witches, and demons are among the many supernaturals in Rylee's world. Prepare yourself for a wild ride that you will not want to end!
"I didn't want to stop!"
These three books for one credit is an incredible deal! The writing is great, the characters are very likable and the stories flowed wonderfully. I plan on getting the rest of the series, I am very much enjoying Shannon Mayer's work.
The narrator, Emma Galvin, was good. She has a beautifully husky voice that is enjoyable. But, her flow could be smoother, her character voices while performed well, all pretty much sounded the same, and her British accents needed work. However, despite this all I did still enjoy her narration and will continue to listen to the rest of the series.
I enjoyed reading better as sometimes it's easy to get distracted and miss parts when listening as I tend to want to do other things at the same time...but it's a great way to wind down from the day and just let the sounds of the reader's voice take away the stresses of the day.
The difference in tone with the characters...something you don't get from reading the book in your head. It's more monotone but the reading by someone else makes the characters seem more alive.
Again the different ranges of the characters and their unique voices.
Yes it was hard to stop.
I'm ready for the next books to be on audio as well.
"Rylee has a voice!"
I loved the continuity of having the first 3 books all in one file. It saved me having to go find the next book to be sure I had the right file to listen to after each story.
Rylee's attitude and Alex's devotion are the things that my reading dreams are made of!
There is a special layer if imagination added any time you hear a story vs. reading it.
I wish I had the time to do that, but most of my listening time is while I am driving or when I am alone at work.
My only issue with this edition is that for the first book and a half or so there didn't seem to be much audio differentiation between Rylee's voice and Liam's which disturbed me a little. By about 1/2 way through the 2nd book there seems to be more of a difference in the two voices.
I Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book.
The performance and story where a very good match.
"Another great way to enjoy this series"
I love being able to listen to while driving. Rylee's story is a great way to pass the time.
Now I have a voice to put with the picture of Rylee in my head.
recommended to all. really loved this. great price for cash or credit. the story is really different and the story flows nicely. the narrator brings the story to life. already bought the next in the series.
Sorry but the narrators voice is almost monotone and becomes very irritating quite quickly A real pity as I was enjoying the story.
"Good deal, fun story but regretful narration..."
A good old feel good, girl power kind of book. I enjoyed discovering a new world, full of nasty Supernaturals but regrets that the narration was so terrible. Surely the line " I went to the bathroom and brush my teeth " should not be read with the same intensity as "I could feel the life rush out of me !!".
There was nothing I didn't like about this book. I loved all of the stories as they dragged me into Rylee's world, I now find myself I itching to finish this review as I want to get book 4 but I see that as of yet we only have up to book 6 on audible decisions decisions. I had never heard of Rylee until I bought this omnibus if that is you my advice would be get the omnibus you won't be sorry.
I'm a little undecided about this series. The storyline is good but I found myself getting a little bored at times. I also found Rylee a little odd. I wanted to like her, but she grated on me at times. The narration was good.
"If you can get past the Narration it is enjoyable"
The first thing I have to tell you is the narration was terrible. Too fast, felt like everything being read was urgent, it needed to be more gentle rather than every word being high pitched and rushed. The extra accents added to book 3 helped as when the Narrator used the English accent it was far calmer. You can't listen to this before bed though as it is not soothing. The story however did keep me interested Riley is easy to like (though she swears a hell of a lot), Her romantic interest Liam is also easy engage with just like her loveable warewolf. Rylee tracks stolen children, it's her gift, mix that with supernaturals stealing them and a vampire trying to woo her and some power politics, you have a easy fantasy listen.
"Rare, value for money roller coater ride !"
Better than I expected. Strong female lead with a unique storyline. looking forward to the next book in the series.
"A great start to an excellent series"
These are the first 3 books of a much longer series and each book gets better and better.
Initially I thought Emma Galvins narration spoiled this a bit as other reviewers have mentioned, but she does grow on you and in particular her voices for Alex the Labrador/Werewolf are brilliant
The English accents in Book 3 are cringeworthy though.
As to the story Rylee is a tracker who has an ability to find lost children and the first book is a fairly straightforwards introduction but each book gets more and more complex and Rylees life and adventures get much more interesting.
If you dont like the Narrator but like this genre at least read the books because they have a different slant and you are left guessing quite a bit as to which characters you can trust. Although the general result is predicable to some extent the plot twists and which characters are good or bad is much less predictable than in some books of this type
If you like Jane Yellowrock you will probably like these! A girl with attitude who never gives up and has bigger and bigger challenges to overcom,. though the abilities they posess are totally different
Already downloaded and listened to book 4 and its just as good and will be onto book 5 soon
Only slight complaint is the books are quite short, not an issue when one credit gets the first 3 but the following books are relatively expensive per listening hour
I haven't read the print version, so couldn't make a comparison
It wasn't off-putting, she learned how to pronounce the unfamiliar words as the books went on and she didn't attempt accents she couldn't manage. Those three points alone put her ahead of some narrators I've heard
It entertained me.
It's a shame that the author set so much of the third book in England when she (or her editor?) obviously isn't familiar with English terminology and speech patterns, that lack of knowledge was obvious and the mistakes grated.
"Really enjoyed this omnibus edition "
Three very enjoyable stories set in a reality that I am really looking forward to exploring further in the rest of the series. Emma Galvin's narration is excellent.
