"Great book. Really adds thought to how I see God."
The conversational tone was wonderful.
This book really caused me to sit back and wonder if my understanding of God is sufficient or if I can learn more. It really made me want to dig deeper into the Bible to look for aspects of God I never thought of before.
"The Book and Audio is excellent"
I read the book long ago, and I love it! This audio book is very good as well.
"awesome, inspiring, humbling."
A must read / listen for the post modern Christian. Perspective is restored and the reader is lead to his knees in awe and reverence for the one true and holy God.
Loved it. Exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this book to anyone that really want to know God's Holiness.
"Good...I struggled a bit, makes one think."
Learning more about GOD will makes one think. Loved the difference between His name & title.
"Great Theology from R.C. Sproul!"
I would easily recommend this book to anyone that is interested in learning about good solid theology. R.C. Sproul always brings the truth of the Gospel home in a manner that is clear, yet understandable.
This book clearly defines and explains the Holiness of God! Sproul does his usual job of clarifying challenging verses, and concepts, while not making the reader (listener) feel like a fool.
Would love to, but the time and the depth of the subject matter is too deep for just one sitting.
I can highly recommend this title above anything else I bought here, except that it advances Calvinism which I don't find biblically acceptable. Find in depth discussion in the book by Dave Hunt - "What love is this" from "The Berean Call".
"Spirituality as argument"
This is the work of a biblically learned man with the spiritual maturity of a child - Christian half zeal, half argument. Mr. Sproul has got a little set of "reasons" why faith is the obvious choice in life; why it just makes sense. Perhaps when he has developed a little he will come to understand the active spritual lives of exemplary men and women are fraught with human struggle and misunderstanding and doubt.. These are lives seen from an old ministry who know that the affirmation of faith has no currency in our "thinking* (lean not onto thy understand, RC). It is the recurrent abdication of "right thinking" by submission to a Will they cannot grasp. That's why your prophets were such unruley characters way outside "good thinking." Your book is a call to conform. I'm sure you sold a bundle.
