Helpfull if you are regenerate bad if you are not.

Preachers such as Charles Spurgeon and DL Moody proclaim a far more balanced view of the power needed in the Gospel to have any hope of being obedient to God. Unfortunantly this work could easily become Legalism if not understood through eyes of Faith and empowerment 'via Grace' from on high. Once we understand the 'New Birth' in John 3 all the answers fall into place.
