Are you an Architect? Scrum master? Team Leader? Project Manager? Either way, you will find that leadership, done right, is a very tough job. This audiobook deals with the hard parts. Not with tools, but with people.
Here is the manifesto that drives this audiobook: For us as team leaders, the goal and the way we measure our work is the overall growth in skills of self-organization and self-maintenance in each member of our team and the team as a whole.
To that end:

"Not very impressed"
A good read, but not very inspirational.
I think it's rather old-style leadership notes. That might be all good, but not very new.
"Take some and leave some"
Short and to the point. book is pretty much split into 2 main parts with the main text first and stories from others later. Some of the stories at end aren't great. Overall it's not bad though. Worth 4 hours of your time. Few good takeaways I thought.
"Very well written and pragmatic"
Listen to this if you are currently, or in the future hope to, work with creative individuals building solutions.
"Weak lofty ideas"
I didn't get any useful information out of this book. There were many vague lofty ideas about managing people with no clear direction on how to implement. The few specific techniques mentioned, I would never use as they seemed very insensitive.
I've been in this industry since the late 80s...seeing tech and practices come and go...then come again.
This book was plain common sense and I could identify with all the things in it. Such a refreshing perspective on things. Oh, I learned loads from it too.
