Certainly some amazing women in years gone past

This book was certainly worth writing about the lives of some wonderful women achieving amazing things in times that weren’t easy for females. I have recommended it to my daughter so the young ones are made aware of the achievements of these women. Full credit to Susanna de Vries for writing it so we can all learn from it.

Unsung heroines

Love this. So many amazing Australian women that we don't hear about. The narration can be a bit monotone at times

Couldn't get past chapter 1

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

If it was narrated by someone else.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Her voice was so irritating. It was like she was being assessed on how aticulate she was. Every letter and sound were so pronounced it became so distracting.

You didn’t love this book--but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Great title!

Any additional comments?

I tried but couldn't take listening to her voice any longer, a pity really, as I was quite interested in this book.
