This series represents an opportunity to participate in a one week retreat with Eckhart and so to go deeper into stillness - becoming one with who you are in the depth of your Being. A certain degree of spiritual maturity, however, is required of anyone wishing to participate fully in this retreat series.
What is spiritual maturity? You know the meaning of presence, not as a concept, but as a living reality. The retreat will help you to enter that dimension more deeply, to always know yourself as consciousness (rather than “this” or “that”), and to manifest this realization - your true purpose - in your daily life.

"My Favorite Audio book ever"
I would say that Tolle has changed my life, but he would object to that and say that presence has changed my life. Either way, My life is a better place now than before I started listening to Eckhart Tolle.
I thought that the Power of Now was my favorite book, and then I listened to the "Art of Presence" and I was hooked on listening to Eckhart conducting live retreats. He works without notes so it is different every time and it is simply amazing.
Now that I have listened to this retreat, "Freedom from the World" I name this as the best audio I have ever listened to. It is long and that is great! The longer the better.
It feels like I am in the retreat with him. I can hear the people laugh (Eckhart is quite funny) and he talks about small details like what the people are doing for an outing and when the members of the retreat will be practicing silence.
I cannot believe that I am saying this, but the retreats are even more helpful and more accessible than "The Power of Now" or "A New Earth."
I own a couple of hundred audio books and most of them are wonderful and extraordinary. But I find myself listening to Tolle every chance I get. As soon as I have finished listening to this retreat (I still have a couple of hours left) I will probably just begin listening to it all over again.
Thank you for making these Tolle retreats available. This is the power of audio. This is as good as it gets! Now I am going to get back to listening!
I love the book narrations for "The Power of Now" and "A New Earth", but I think I like this open format that Eckhart takes in this audio even more. He is such a genuine speaker and his words move me to consciousness every time I listen. Great audio, very insightful.
Listening to this book while being present and mindful has been a tremendously peaceful experience for me. I have found myself to be more connected and thoughtful throughout the day. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking to connect with the depth of the moment and to have a deeper connection to their higher self/universe/god (Or whatever else you call this feeling of oneness in your head). This book has been very beneficial in helping me to disconnect with the pain body and to then evaluate my reactions in the moment instead of diverting to the familiar egoic reaction.
"Nice While Reading Ramana Maharshi"
The presentation by Tolle is wonderful. As a person who has enjoyed teachings by Ramana Maharshi, this is like the cousin of the teachings in a more modern and Western environment. While some books or presentations of this type often sound like talking points issued by a Self-Help Guru, this, I sense, is based on things more Universal and deeper,
Subject and content as well as the really cool sense of being in the audience and listening to the talk.
I like him and how he approaches things. Words and sentences often echo other, often far more ancient, sources.
Thanks to audible.com for making this available t me -- and thank you for the Customer Service when things don't go right.
Brought me back to where I was always meant to be. In a state of surrender and peace.
Listening to Echardt centers me and this audio is my favorite, I listen over and over again.
"For fans of Tolle, a wonderful listen"
Like most of his other "audiobooks," this is a recording of several days' sessions at a retreat. So much of the latter half is inspired by (mostly written) questions of retreat participants. Which is good if you're a fan of Tolle's, because it affords him an opportunity to find new analogies and "pointers" (as he calls them) to the teaching he is trying to enlighten in his listeners.
"Makes it all makes sense."
I have read/listened much on the subject of spirituality. His teachings talk to me the most. I love that there is no reaching for enlightenment. That it is within us in this present moment. We need just look for it and accept it one moment at a time. We are not humans trying to live a spiritual life. We are spiritual beings trying to live a human existence. Spirituality is our birth right and it is you we are, now. Namaste.
This is something I can listen to again and again, to help guide me and remind me on my journey. Gratitude for the wisdom that resonates with me.
Tolle always delivers! He's been my mentor for years. I enjoy this program because it give me practical steps to be more present. I also really enjoyed the question and answers in the audience format.
"Eckhart Tolle at his very best! In my opinion!"
Eckhart Tolle feels like a personal friend of mine. I have followed him for many years and work with his teachings on a daily basis in my work as a counsellor and coach. Listening to him on the Audible App is awesome. His teachings are not only incredible and profound but he is able to bring humour into the equation too, in his own unique humble way.

The story of PRESENCE is THE most important story of ALL.CWhat could be more important?
I love his wisdom and his humour which shows frequently throughout the whole audio.
I couldn't listen to the whole audio in one.It needs to be mindfully internalised to be fully understood.
Awesome! Highly recommended! Buy it!

"Great but recording is cactus!"
Great audiobook from the guru. The recording is hopeless though - kept on stopping and had to keep restarting.
Maybe Mr Eckhardt was trying to make me reflect lol.
"Refreshing Humorous Treat"
Playful, nourishing, amusing ...thoroughly satisfying. Great to listen to anytime - day, evening, bedtime, in night...Eckhart is my favourite spiritually enlightened comedian. I instantly smile when I hear him chuckling away.
"Excellent. Very insightful"
Brilliant. Was dubious at first as it's clearly a recorded retreat but I really, really enjoyed this
The book power of now really helped me and this is recording goes deeper and more intimate. Invaluable advice given by Tolle and found myself laughing thoughout the recording.
great listen, had to listen to it a few times as it is quite deep and meaningful.
the last time I listened it seemed to resonate with life so I guess u have to be in the right spiritual mind for it.
love his work and words of wisdom.
I've listened to several Eckhart audiobooks now and absolutely love them all but this for me took my understanding of his teachings to a deeper level. This contains more practical guidance on how to actually apply Eckhart's teachings in everyday life. I will return to this repeatedly and recommend regularly. Enjoy.
"brilliant thank you"
very good lot of insight presence and truth really trust these words spoken in such a way to enable deeper listening
As always with Eckhart Tolle amazing insights. Can listen repeatedly and always get something new.
