Went by in a flash. Strewth if I'd known such bonza, bona fide Frenchies would be teaching it I'd a signed up ages ago. The French Sheila sounds like a good sort too, not stuck up but wouldn't embarrass you at a work do either. Thanks fellas.
"More than 50% is advertisement"
The lessons are roughly 15 to 17 minutes, out of which about 10 minutes (clocked) are advertisement and repeated instructions. The couple of lessons I heard were free, but had I payed money for them, and then found myself serviced with a meager 5 to 7 minute lesson, I would have been very upset.
This audiobook appears to be a long ad. It is 15 minutes long with more than 10 minutes devoted to describing the
Not was to like as it was short and there really is NO language lesson here to learn.
It was just an introduction to the language and really serves no purpose to learning anything!
No, not really!
That it has really nothing to do with learning anything!
There could have been more substance to it. Like it could break it down so one could learn the words to the language being taught.
Everything and would start over!
"YAWN! 2/3rds of the time = Advert"
I know this is free, but really, this was a very long and tedious advert. The actual example lesson started at 10 min 49 seconds. Methodology seems sound, but the various chiming sounds between sections would drive me to distraction. I suspect will be deleting this one from my library.
"lesson 1 french"
basic introduction on the language but it is a start. lets continue with the lessons.
Part ad, and part instructions on the system, there very little French in this lesson. It isn't very clear just how the system works with Audible, but the website might clarify that.
"So far, it seems pretty good"
I've only just finished with Chapter 2 into this. But from what I'm understanding about it, it seems to really allow you to be comfortable at your own pace.
good to have your answer confirmed once you tried it out. helps in improve the pronounciation
"this book is mostly an ad. good stuff is in about"
this book is mostly one big ad. the good stuff is after the first chapter. its informative but there's little to be expected given its free
I'm talking a french course so the level is a bit below mine
Wish it was longer
Just an advert for a French course. Annoying when you have to down load a lot of data to listen to self promotion.
I enjoyed the short introduction to learning French . I have been encouraged to try more French learnings. Would recommend it.
"Good for Beginners"
This is a good audiobook for anyone who is a beginner and would like to learn some French for holidaying.
I am so pleased to have found these Learn French. So easy to follow & review as you go along with each word & phrase.
The narrators speak clearly & slowly enough for the words & sentences to sink in. No fuss or prattle.
You also get the PDF file to follow & simplifies learning . This is good for those who learn better by seeing the words in front of you. This is helps you to learn to read the French language as well as speak French. The PDF is clear & precise & easy to follow.
