Really enjoyable
Having read a number of books on Alexander the Great and the Greeks, this was the first time I've heard a Persian-centric view. Professor Lee did a great job in particular of explaining the sources (and problem with or lack of sources) throughout and shed some light on what can otherwise be a hidden and hard to uncover topic.

Highly recommended
Very well written and presented.It is refreshing to hear about history from someone with such a deep knowledge about the topic .He has travelled to most of the places he is referring to and events are described with such a detail that looks like watching a movie .I highly recommend to the person who is remotely interested in the topic .Amazing work!
