The history, interesting and little known facts was refreshingly good. The narration was also a treasure.
"Interesting look at the early mob"
The book focus on the formation of the early Italian mob and set out to debunk a few myths about the mob in general. It is in no way a comprehensive view of the mafia but looks the mobs early years and how it evolved and changed. Worth while book if you are looking for a fresh perspective on the inner gears of the mob.
"Interesting but redundant"
Interesting but redundant. Needs editing. The story is meandering and incoherent. How many times do they think they need to repeat "Joe Bonono's autobiography, Man of Honor," before we get it? Oy.
someone with insomnia....
it's just way too slow and way to hard to follow...
I don't blame hte narrator...
there are no "characters" in a history book. Jeez Audible...who comes up with these questions?
"A well narrated view on the American Mafia"
I have read many books on this subject and although not too much new content I thought the book was both interesting and well narrated. If you are new to this subject I would recommend it and even if you have an insight please try it, you will not be disappointed.
