Questioning thousands of parents and educators, Dr. Wayne Dyer learned firsthand what people really want for their children. They don't particularly want their kids to go to fancy schools, acquire riches, or live "the good life". They do want them to have personal integrity and high self-esteem, and to grow up with love and peace in their hearts. Children raised the Wayne Dyer way feel useful and needed. They are inner- rather than outer-directed. They live a stress-free life naturally, without resorting to drugs.

I truly recommend this book to any parents who struggle with there children and want to make peace with them.
Another wonderful audio book. Inspiring as always, pass the words and wisdom on to friends and family.
"Excellent lessons on love"
Wayne dyer is an excellent example of a person finding their authentic self and being vulnerable along the way. He spoke of mistakes he made and decisions he chose, as well as changing his mind and decisions later. He holds space for himself and others to grow and encourages parents to do the same with their children.
Well presented difficult and complex issues which are concerns that really parents have every day
"Not the full unabridged version but still very good"
I love the work of Wayne Dyer - he speaks a lot of sense and with three teenagers I need all the sense I can lay my hands on! This isn't unabridged but rather a collection of broadcasts he has made on the subject and includes a beautiful letter that he wrote to a partly fictional version of his mum. We all know that teenagers are fighting battles with us as they learn but this confirms that we have to make them responsible for their actions and we have to just love them, nothing more and nothing less. Not always easy to remember!
