In his first book, mindbodygreen founder Jason Wachob redefines successful living and offers listeners a new life currency to build on - one that is steeped in well-being: Wellth.
"Many of us aren't satisfied with just trying to accumulate the most money and toys. The good life is no longer just about the material; instead it can be found in a lifestyle that is devoted to mental, physical, and emotional health. A wellthy existence is one in which happiness is attainable, health is paramount, and daily living is about abundance. It's a life in which work is purposeful; friendships are deep and plentiful; and there's a daily sense of richness or overflowing joy. But since there's no one-size-fits all definition of a wellthy existence, I hope this book will serve as a guide to help you embark on your own personal journey that is both unique and meaningful."
Eat. Move. Work. Believe. Explore. Breathe. Connect. Love. Heal. Thank. Ground. Live. Laugh.
These are the building blocks of Wellth...and in this blend of memoir and prescriptive advice, Jason Wachob shows us all how to enjoy truly "wellthy" lives - lives that are deeply rich in every conceivable way. Through his experience and personal story, as well as in exclusive material from popular expert contributors (including Dr. Frank Lipman, Dr. Lissa Rankin, Joe Cross, Charlie Knoles, Kathryn Budig, Dr. Aviva Romm, and Dr. Sue Johnson), we learn how we, too, can embrace this new movement and develop richer, fuller, happier, healthier, and more meaningful lives. What will make your life more wellthy? Come and explore it.

"Health begins with what's on your plate. But 'wellness' is alchemy - an elusive and delicate ballet of body, mind & spirit ever striving for perfect harmony. Deftly leveraging the wisdom and experience of the world's greatest wellness experts, Wellth is a brilliantly composed, highly engaging memoir and easy to digest primer on exactly how you too can be healthy and happy, live your best life, and thrive. A must read!" (Rich Roll, wellness advocate and best-selling author of Finding Ultra and The Plantpower Way)
"I wish all my patients and readers would grab a copy of Wellth. To truly thrive, we all need what Jason Wachob shares with us here. More wellth, not wealth. It's that simple and that important." (Mark Hyman, MD, director, Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine; author of number-one New York Times best seller The Blood Sugar Solution)
"I love Jason's work and his first book is a personal, smart and informative read. Wellth shares his deep wisdom and helps you enjoy a more exciting, energized, healthy, and ultimately well-lived life. (Dan Buettner, National Geographic fellow and New York Times best-selling author of The Blue Zones Solution)
I felt that I could really relate to Jason's journey which was refreshing. He has some great insights on career and life. Loved so many of the quotes in this book!
I truly loved this book! I've read a lot of wellness books but this one was completely unique. It touched my soul and has changed my life 💜 Thank You Jason
Typical self help book, nothing particularly novel. Speaker has kind of monotone voice, so if you're going to be doing other things (driving, laundry, etc.) while listening, it's very easy to lose focus and zone out of the book, then you have to rewind. Seems like much of the book was just the author paraphrasing other people's famous quotes.
"Everything needs to be about Wellth"
Listened and loved it. Now I will re-listen and buy some hard copies for friends. Simple principles delivered in a way that leaves a positive impression.
What a pleasure to listen to! Thank you for taking the time to share with the world.
"Simple concepts illustrated through egoless stories"
This is a great book and worth multiple listens. The content is thoughtful and demonstrates mindfulness with its simplicity.
"not compelling or relatable"
Ivy League/Wall Street guys have a leg up others do not have. His struggle wasn't close to what the average person experiences trying to make a living. He always had resources, connections & fall back. MBG is full of celebrity worship & questionable health science. Wellth is not going to work for many.
Heard everything he had to offer. Another book would be more of the same.
Not a good reader. Emphasizes wrong words. Swallows too many words/end of thoughts. Low energy. Smugness creeps in.
"I really, really, really wanted to like this book"
I bet this guy has some awesome ideas, some really good insight into living a meaningful life....I just bet he does. But, I'll never know because his delivery was SO BAD - SO EXQUISITELY BAD - that I gave up after chapter two.
He sounds bored to death by his story. Bored. To. Death. It was, literally, painful to listen to. What a shame.
"Inspirational. Relaxing. To listen over and over again"
I loved Jason's book. I have been a regular reader of his amazing blog bodymindgreen since 2010 or so. Listening to Jason's story makes me appreciate the blog even more.
The book is deliciously narrated. So relaxing, inspiring. I've listened it to it twice and I always put it in when I need inspiration.
I like the structure of the book. Jason's view connected with his life stories make it easy to relate to.
Only warning: I might want to have a donut or two! : )
Thanks for the writing and sharing your story!
