Most people are stuck. Every day we seem to just go through the motions, following our usual routine without ever stopping and thinking why we do what we do, or what we'd rather be doing instead. But sometimes, we have that one day - that perfect day - where everything just clicks. We feel great. We are unstoppable. And at the end of it, we think, "Why can't every day be like this?"

I liked a lot of concepts from the book and have already incorporated some into my daily life. So it's great that it was practical from that point of view.
The book is written and narrated with a lot of hype. I often felt I was listening to an informercial on tv. I think that doesn't quite suit the Australian culture though it might suit an American one. If they toned that down and just talked about the steps and why you should do them I think I would have enjoyed it more.
If you're looking at getting this I would suggest getting the paper back version instead.
"Makes Perfect Sense"
At first the idea of getting up early to get your important work done seems radical to someone who is a self-employed artist, but as I progressed through the book it made perfect sense. This arrives at a time when I am beginning a big project, so I think it will be very helpful.
"Structure = Freedom"
I've never been satisfied working a job. I escaped the rat race and became self employed so that I could experience more freedom. I got to a point where I was making pretty good money working only 3 days per week... But those 4 days off caused me to become lazy and eventually I become a slave to myself...
This book has given me the insight I needed to get to the next level in business. I've uncovered a period of time that never existed for me before: the morning, and I've discovered the reality that if I want to further my success then I need to add structure to my life, which (counter-intuitively) adds freedom to my life as well.
Being an INTJ (Briggs-Myers personality test) this book has been perfect for me. However, I'm confident that just about any personality type would benefit from The Perfect Day Formula as well.
the book sounded like it was being read by someone who does infomercials. I couldn't wait for the book to be done and by the time that was I was excited to start my next one. it had some good points but for the most part you have to remember that the book was written by someone who wrote articles for Fitness magazines.
Good content. Performance and writing style made it difficult to get through. Worth listening to, but a read would be better.
"short and simple life productivity"
if your looking for foundational life productivity this is your book. With tons of insight into how you can take back your life with 15min a day. wish the author made a PDF with the formula.
I enjoyed the book! the concept is good and I'm going to implement it into my daily life
Very solid entry in the self help genre. Very specific actionable advice. With the time.
"Cuts the overwhelm w/ a manageable blueprint"
Craig Ballantyne takes the time to set up a strong foundation before laying all the information and steps needed to get your shit together. The book starts out slow but is still interesting. By the last few chapters I was pausing it every minute or so to take notes.
This is all very logical and realistic information that we could say we already know, however, he cuts through the overwhelm and lays out a manageable blueprint.
"Very Empowering. I like the way he break it"
Extremely empowering. I love the way he break it down. Very informative. well well Done
"Worth Listening to Multiple Times "
Focusing on the content and lessons in this book are key to getting back on track. Highly recommend.
Not impressed, this book is part of a bigger package, thought it would be life changing material... guess I was wrong. Narrator's voice isnt the best I've heard too. Disappointed overall cos I expected a lot more from the publisher.
