Are you longing for your life to be easier and more fun? Would you like to stop pushing, micromanaging, and forcing things so you can relax? What if you could enjoy what you have instead of always lusting for "more"? What if you could live in "the zone", propelled by powerful currents toward the right people and opportunities? What if you could stop worrying about money and live with more emotional ease in the moment? If you answer "yes" to all these questions and desire lasting positive change, then prepare to experience the ecstasy of surrender.
The art of letting go, Dr. Judith Orloff explains, is the secret key to manifesting power and success in all areas of life, including work, relationships, sexuality, radiant aging, and health and healing. In our superconnected world where emails and text messages constantly interrupt us, it’s easier to let go than you think. Once embraced, surrendering removes roadblocks and the exhaustion that comes from "trying too hard" - and it helps you achieve goals more effortlessly and brings ongoing happiness.
With her stunning gift for storytelling coupled with her unique, results-oriented approach to physical, emotional, and spiritual health - marrying neuroscience, psychiatry, intuitive medicine, energy techniques, and more - Judith provides a powerful, practical, and accessible map for anyone who is longing to be happier but who feels stuck, burned-out, tense, worried, or afraid to let go.

loved it, answered so many questions! very well written and such great topics, great book!
"The Power and Ecstasy of Surrender"
It seems to me, that the description and length of both the power of surrender, and the ecstasy of surrender are identical.
I purchased the ecstasy of surrender, and was thinking about buying the power of surrender, so I checked, the two books appear identical.
Why would there be 2 books with similar titles and identical content?
"Some sections a little depressing"
Great concept, positive reinforcements, depressing medical stories, fast forward parts, repetitive use of medical scenarios. Just not entirely for me.
"I enjoyed every minute of this audiobook!"
Her message was beautifully delivered. Excellent book for those who are ready to surrender. I will listen to it again
this book It's a guide trough life and it covers every aspect where we could need to let go and surrender and she gives you lots of tools and steps plus lots of info and her words and vice are si calming and reassuring. I listen to her book often whenever I start to feel stressed and it helps me to attain peace. I could hear it over and over again always learn something new
"Well written spiritual guidance"
This is a well written book of spiritual guidance and I will probably read it again. Generally, I prefer voice actors to read audio books, because they can keep things lively. However, for such precious information I am happy to hear directly from the author.
"First world problem solver."
My fault for not checking the author but if you are into self hugging meta physics this book is for you. I can not say how most of the book was to be fair but by the second chapter I had to surrender and get another book.
I will never tire of listening to Judith's books. She has something deep, well-founded and beautiful to impart about all aspects of life in this book, especially the parts of life we don't often get to talk or learn about. Even though I'm learning about things that occasionally feel out of my depth, I can relax and trust her words implicitly. So much love x
