Those who have made the decision to homeschool their children have done so out of great love for them and a desire to provide them an excellent education in the context of a warm, enriching home. Yet so many parents (mainly mothers) who have taken up this challenge find the enterprise often full of stress, worry, and anxiety. In this practical, faith-based, and inspirational book, Sarah Mackenzie addresses these questions directly, appealing to her own study of restful learning and her struggle to bring restful learning to her (six) children.

"Given me strength to press on & furthered my love for Sarah Mackenzie."
This book is amazing. As a new homeschooling mom (in our 5th week of our 2st homeschool year), I have already come to feel slightly overwhelmed with all there is " to do". The fear creeps up from time to time about whether or not I'll screw up our kids. But, I know the Lord has called me to do this great work. I must continue to trust that He will see it through to completion. I must rest in that.
Thank you, Sarah for reminding me to rest- to trust that when I need Him (which is all the time), He will immediately answer my cry. I can rest assured in that.
"This book is a must have for every homeschool mom!"
I loved this book!! I am preparing to listen to it again as I paint our study room. This book gave wonderful quotes and references. The advice and examples were easily appliable to daily life. The reader (who is also the author) read it beautifully. It was like she was inside my head as she wrote it and it was like talking to a dear friend as she read it.
"Refreshment for Christian hs parents"
Refreshing, enlightening, and just what this homeschool mama needed! A book I will return to every year to help me keep my eye on what really matters.
"A Yearly Listen"
I know I will take away more from this book if I listen to it yearly. Thank you Sarah!
"where had this been all my life?"
What i wish I would have known or figured out! I couldn't slow down to contemplate that I was going too fast. She is right, and I bless her for it

I loved it! and the author reading it herself made it even better. Highly Recommended for Homeschoolers. . . it's so encouraging.
The author Sarah MacKenzie shares some wonderful, practical "how to's" in this book. Her book is encouraging, inspiring and challenging. She reminded me of why we chose to homeschool our 6 children. My husband and I are just about to graduate our first one! This book has awakened in me that which seemed dormant but not. There's so much to glean from this book, I will read it again and again. Only God can and will guide me through the rest of my journey with my other five. I've already recommended this book to a friend. Thank you Sarah for being genuine and real.
"Beautiful and inspiring"
Sarah Mackenzie has written a profoundly beautiful book that is sure to guide many in their homeschooling journey. Her easy narration and bubbling personality make this a resource I'll return to again and again.
