"Required reading for anyone with following."
Anyone serious about influencing others in a positive way needs this and other books written by Andy Stanley. This particular book was a quick read but full of insights into authentic leadership.
"Very inspiring and challenging!"
This was a great book for me as I begin to plant a church. Many great thoughts and encouraging challenges to implement into my life.
This is an excellent book on leadership and I highly recommend it. I have read it multiple times and get a new insights each time.
A must read for any leader in today's world. Very clear, concise and practical information on how to become a more effective and efficient leader.
"Simple, clear, understandable, applicable"
Andy sticks to what he does best. He pulls from biblical principles to help create a picture for what that looks like practically. His narration skills help to make it feel more like a one on one experience.
"Leaders are learners"
If you want to lead dont read this book. If you want to lead WELL do read this boom. Its just that simple. Andy Stanley writes like he wants you to be a better young leader than he was.
A must for anyone who is or wants to be a leader or expand responsibilities.
"Good points for leadership guidance"
Andy puts into context and stories examples of leadership for those leading others. Good principles which allow someone to put into practice.
This book equips and provides any leader with essential tools needed to impact their life and the lives of those that they lead. I recommend to anyone trying to excel in entrepreneurship or Christian leadership.
"Great! Take under advisement"
Andy Stanley presents overall truths with stories from his own life we can learn from. His Eskridge give him the credibility to wire on this topic, and his Giddings give him his starting point. it's important to remember as one gets further along in this book that each person is gifted differently. at times it feels a leader must have a specific gifting, but this is never Andy's intent, and when viewed in the scope of the entire book, is evident.
As a young leader myself I am left with a long to do list in order to set myself up for success. I rarely leave a "self-help" book with action steps. but I have a list of at least 20 things to do and even more questions to answer.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking to lead well and anyone who has been leading for a long time and may need a wake-up call.
