"Excellent to listen to !!"
Just finished listening for first time and ready to start again... I recommend this to anyone wanting more from life.
it made me laugh, it made me feel good! and confident. I still listen to it over and over.
Extremely inspiring! What a valuable man, great contribution to society and this has made a huge positive difference in my life. Highly highly recommend!!
It's one of my top for sure!!!
This audiobook is extremely motivational and I have been applying his exercises daily!
"Really great going to have yo listen again just one thing"
im a huge fan of Jack Canfield he has helped me so much I listen to him a ton I love this audiobook but the only thing was the last 30 minutes or the last chapter of this audiobook was very bizarre there's three voices speaking out all at once and it sounds kind of creepy I'm not sure if that is on purpose or if it is a mistake in the audiobook other than that the audiobook was fantastic
"All i can say is Thank you"
This is exactly what i need it to change my life. Only 3 days of listening to you and i am already seeing the changes in my life. The miror exercise made me discover something terrifying. I had never met myself. I don't know if people will understand what i am saying but if you do. You know it is an incredibly beautiful feeling.
"Disappointed with the content"
Nothing special. It seems to be more of a self- marketing material with affirmation-based advice rather than a book that provides an insight into why some people become less confident than others and how to address this problem. The book does not say what to do if affirmations do not work. The music in this book was rather annoying.
"Do not underestimate the power of self-image"
This was an especially easy read that gave step by step guidance for building self esteem. Very useful information that's easy to implement. Highly recommend.
"Good but the music sucks!"
Great book but the music is so outdated and distracting. Over all recommend it if you don't mind the music.
Just a bunch of lectures and stories. I was not satisfied. How to accomplish goals rather than increase confidence was the focus of this book. Visualizing the end state? Please. The secret revisited.
"Some practical ideas"
It was only after I bought this download I realised the author was the same guy behind Chicken Soup for the Soul. I'm afraid that raised some prejudices as what I've heard about that book led me to expect a cloying, sentimental, God-bothering listen here.
I was pleasantly surprised. There are elements of the above - perhaps more new age spiritual bunkum than religion - but generally the content is good humoured, grounded and practical. There was only one chapter that felt a little too "American" for my tastes and I ended up fast forwarding.
I've read a number of books that claim the benefits of affirmations and I've always considered their apparently magical properties to be unsubstantiated. Here Canfield provides the first logical explanation as to why they might work I've come across which means I much more likely to persist with them.
The style of reading is good too. Much of the recording is of Canfield presenting to a small, appreciative crowd. But don't let that lead you to expect one of those awful shouty 'motivational speakers'. I found his style engaging, considered and often amusing.
In between these sessions, Canfield summarises and explains direct to the listener. It's a style I found I really liked.
One final thing that amused me. A few years ago a guy I worked with decided he was going to become a motivational speaker and I went to see him once. He told a story about he had wondered down a beach tossing stranded starfish back into the sea. Tears welled up in his eyes as he described the profound effect this had on him. Listening to this tape I realise he nicked the whole story from Canfied!
"Some great insights and a fun listen too"
Some great insights and a fun listen too. Jack Canfield is a great speaker and easy to listen to. I also like that he explains the logic behind some of his suggested techniques which are at times counter intuitive.
Dull, bland boring nonsense and a complete waste of my time and money!!! Maybe this was valid 30 years ago but not today, times have changed. Did nothing at all of rme, didn't even like the narration
"brilliant helpful clear"
listening again and again as loaded with helpful and motivational material. I am confident it will help me with the changes I want to achieve.
"Overall, I am disappointed."
Someone with too much time on their hands!
Not too bad to be fair, just a bit irritating at times.
Felt cheesy, old fashioned and of no real help. I picked up very little of any real value from this book and still have the same issues with self-esteem etc as I did before.
"brilliant and inspirational"
happily listen to this book over and over, great for those wanting to change, brilliant
"I Confidently Recommend!"
This book is really good. I found it funny and very, very engaging..
I cannot say that all the strategies were new, they were not - but they reminded me of what I should be doing - setting goals, positive self-talk, affirmations, etc. The stories in the book were good and the book was very easy to listen to. I really enjoyed listening to it.
I think this is a book that I will listen to again, partly because I know that I have not done any of the homework!
"A Life Changer...."
Follow this book and implement the steps within. It will change your life positively forever....
Excellent book with great techniques for practical application in everyday life. the last chapter is again very effective
Not imprest it's easy for people who have had a bit of luck and made a few quid to talk like they they brought it all to them through there thoughts and making more money off weaker minded people.
