    Should be part of curriculum

I found this book in my dad’s library and read it for the first time at the age of 15. It has been my go-to ever since and each time I read it I find something new that applies to my current situation.
One chapter is too religiously centred for my taste but I just skip it and it doesn’t affect the overall rating.

    A true classic

This book has withstood the test of time after only 10 minutes into the book my problems that had been getting me down for months had taken on a new perspective and for the first time for months I had peace of mind my problems were still there but I realised they were not as big as I thought they were.

Not bad, probably twice as long as it needs to be

Not a bad book, but the religious parts are quite cringey and hard to listen too. The first half of the book definitely has more value then the later.

I’ve listened to this over and over.

First of all, I really like the narrator and the language used, listening to this book is, in of itself is comforting.
I think the strategies presented in the book to deal with worry are really useful.

Not nearly as good as How to Win Friends

After absolutely loving How to Win Friends and Influence People I found this book to be a struggle in comparison.
While the other book aged very well, this one has not. It feels very formulaic with continuous anecdotes and also gets very heavily religious which I found quite off-putting.
