This is a great book, but I wish I had known there was a first edition prior to purchasing this book. It does help with those who want to work out, just ensure you read the first edition prior to reading this one. I do recommend this book.

Enjoyed this book, the concepts are great, however there is lots of repetition.
I believe that Mike Matthews truly cares about his readers.
Wonderful insights of what takes place after the newbe gains of the first year. Ive read both bls and beyond bls and they both truly fills out a knowledge void that has keept me in a rut for a long time. Really good content

I'm just starting the BLS program, and decided to read this so I know what to expect when I finish the BLS program. There was a lot of new information in this book that I found useful and educational.

The narrator is trying his best to keep this book interesting but it really gets boring after the firtst chapters. Not anything new in regards to fitness either
