you don't have to have different techniques for different rooms so it gets repetitive. keep it short and it will be more interesting

"A Fun Listen!"
I was worried when I realized that I got a cleaning audiobook. Is this like homework, to listen to someone tell you how to clean, what to clean, when to clean? Well, I started it when I had to wash dishes, and it made me SMILE! Wow, I loved the lists and knowing I could find them and print them. It was totally inspiring.
I have not listened to Greg Zarcone before, but I really enjoyed it. It must be short of miraculous to make a reading of lists and cleaning information be appealing. I was so impressed with him.
Need to Declutter? Who doesn't. This book has me ready to DO IT NOW! It was so inspiring. Plug it into your earbuds and get after it.

How to do a little at a time and not get overwhelmed, plus they give you a list of things that you will need to get the job at hand done.
This is my first time listening to Greg Zarcone, I found his voice quite enjoyable.
To do a little everyday and get into a habit of doing it everyday. That is something that I need to learn to do very badly. This book talked about how to do that in your everyday life, make it a habit. I'm going to make my husband listen too, so we can both practice and get into the habit.

"Decluttering Book: How to Clean up your Clutter"
This is an excellent book that allows you to follow a step-by-step process to declutter your house in minimum time. Alternately you can also just pace yourself the way you want using the tips the author presents in this book. I highly recommend it for both myself and others of you who are very artistic and creative but have no time to clean up. It will work if you follow it. I am a non-fiction author as well and, as both as a writer and consumer, I say 5 stars!
"Helpful but not groundbreaking."
This book isn't bad but it's mostly common sense and didn't tell me anything particularly new. That said it gave me a little boost to get some more tidying done. This is kind of like Marie Kondo lite. Her method is much more involved and focuses more on breaking the psychological aspects of why we clutter. The 10 Minute Declutter seems more concerned with the physical aspects of organising and keeping a tidy space. I think there is a little too much focus on buying more stuff to keep your stuff in order. The danger here is that you just become even better at hoarding.
The thing I will take away from this book is that you can have an impact by chipping away at tasks in 10 minute increments. While Marie Kondo would like you to set aside large blocks of time to really focus on your tidying, this book's approach is probably better for the busier person. I'm just not convinced that it really deals with the underlying issues very effectively and feels a bit more like a typical shallow self-help book with lists of tips and tricks that are similar to the things you find in magazines. That said it may be helpful to many.
My life is changing in 10 minute mini projects! Brilliant book well worth a listen!
