Poppy Day is an ordinary woman. She's a 32-year-old stay-at-home mum with two gorgeous children, while her husband Mart tours with the army. Her simplest pleasure is having her family together in a happy home. But Poppy is too busy to notice the fatigue in her body and the menacing lump growing on her breast. If there's anyone strong enough to defeat cancer it's Poppy. But does life really work like that?

"Captivating, heartbreaking and superbly written." (Closer on What Have I Done?)
I bought this book as a bit of escapism - easily listening - what I got was a beautifully written and narrated story of family life battling against a terminal illness. Yes it may seem a bit over the top at times but then with such a heart wrenching story it needs something to stem the tears. Loved it from start to finish - can't wait to get another from this author
Really well narrated.
Both laughed and cried - you travel the journey with Poppy and Martin
I loved this book. Yes it is overly sentimental and does manipulate your feelings (like music in a movie) but I feel in love with Poppy Day and her wonderful family. Get those tissues out and enjoy this beautifully narrated story of a young mum dealing a tough hand the best way possible - with grace, strength, anger, tears and laughter.
"Only read this if your prepared to cry"
Such a sad story bringing home how short life is and to live as happily as possible and to forgive any hurt
"Not a good listen"
Awful, did not like the narrators voice or the way it was written so returned
