Melina Franklin was barely 16 when she and her grandfather were kidnapped by an alien trader and sold to an Antrox mining asteroid in deep space. The twin dragons are confused when two humans are discovered in an abandoned asteroid mine. The old man and his grandson appear normal enough, but their dragons are driving them crazy, insisting the boy is their true mate. Can they convince her to give them a chance at happiness?

***Twin Dragons***

I love this book, I am so relieved that Cree and Calo found Melina and she found them. There are scenes that I couldn't stop giggling. The world building is fantastic. The narrative is excellent as always David Brenin is awesome with his narrative.

One of SE Smith's better novels

A compelling read with a different story line to the often used huge-man-chases-reluctant-bride plot often used by SE Smith.

Narration okay but sometimes a bit monotone. Loved this book as much in audible as I did reading it. Great to listen whilst doing housework. BOOK REVIEW What a roller coaster ride this book was. Another wonderful story but the first third was a recap of book 5 and annoyingly wasteful to those of us following the series. I will agree it is needed for new readers though or they would be lost. So sad at the beginning with what happened to the other twin Dragons Barrack and Brogan, glad Aikaterina is going to do something for them. Melanie and her grandpa were kidnapped from earth when Mel was only 16. The beginning of their story is told in Cornering Carmen. Cree and Calo also featured in Cornering Carmen, when they first meet Mel they think they are going mad. No twin dragon set in history has found a true mate. The madness of the other dragons hangs over their heads as they grow up and they are determined to die in battle rather than go mad. This makes them deadly in battle as they have no fear of death. Once they realise Melanie is their true mate they are so over protective as to smother her, this makes for an amusing read. Shy little Melanie comes into her own and I just loved the end where she takes the council on with her golden shovel. Very amusing. She may be quiet but she has a backbone of steel. You can read this as a standalone as it recaps a lot of their story but reading Corning Carmen first gives you a good solid background. My only query is Cree and Calo had pledged themselves to the Royal house for life, albeit drunkenly, but there was no mention of them leaving, all of a sudden they were living in their new home in the mountains near their parents, maybe it was because Raffvin was dead. I just like tidy ends and all the answers.
