When Adam proposes to Sarah, the last thing he expects is to be single and heartbroken less than forty-eight hours later. But Sarah has a secret, and she's willing to sacrifice everything to keep it.
Going through a break-up is hard enough but having to live together afterwards is even worse, especially when it's a break-up neither person wants. For Adam, only ways to deal with it are drinking and partying. For Sarah, it's keeping her distance and her secrets.
Against a backdrop of lies, betrayals and passion, the delicate threads holding Sarah's secret begin to unravel when her past and present collide.
Romantic, intense and heartbreaking, Together Apart explores what it really means to love and be loved.

HAVING BEEN TOLD HOW GOOD AUDIBLE WAS I THOUGH MY FIRST EXPERIENCE WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING
VOICE WAS REALLY DREADFUL, NOT EXPRESSION
The plot is okay but nothing special. It was difficult to connect to any of the characters and it is not very well written. The narration is the worst I have heard. I could only bear it for a couple of sentences. Read the rest on my kindle.
"Just plain full"
How this story lasted more than 5 chapters is beyond comprehension. The twist is obvious from the start & the characters are flat.
I was unfortunately unable to get past the first chapter. the narrator was monotonous and the drawl at the end of each sentence made me want to claw out my hair. awful!
Sadly it hasn't downloaded property so I only got two chapters but the narration wasn't for me . I found myself just listening to the strange intonation rather than following the story. Such a major part of enjoying a book is the narrator .
Awful. Couldn't get beyond chapter 1 due to the abysmal narration!! It's like listening to a Sloane It girl droning on and on about .... I don't know what. Flat, monotonous drivel and the story sounded dreary on top of that. Shudder.
Good soppy chic lit but spoiled by the terrible accent of the narrator - managed to get through it but cringed at pronunciation at times
"really was glued to the story"
I loved the story but I did find the narrators voice a bit annoying with the "drawling".
