"Yet another corker from the undisputed queen of chick lit." (Company)
enjoyed the book; but this reading is missing bits and skips reasonable chunks, despite trying multiple 'fixes' from help desk. disappointing.
"disjointed, didn't like the use of precis style"
good story but didnt like the way it was written, almost as if the speaker was speaking english as a foreign language
disappointed as I am a huge keyes fan
"A must read"
Probably one of my favourites, heart warming, funny and just brilliant 😊
Would definitely recommend it
Good read from start to finish. Narration was evocative and told story well. Good fun
"A good read"
I've only read I few so far but I did enjoy it
I liked them all but Lola was my favourite as her story was quite upsetting but uplifting at the end and she was also funny - you could relate to her.
No, but I liked her performance it brought the story to life.
Yes it made me laugh and cry! Poignant and uplifting, thought provoking and numerous, just the right balance!
This book would be a nice holiday read in my opinion. The style of writing was hard to get used to at first but then it started to make more sense as the story went on.
I normally love Marion Keyes but this was not good and I eventually gave up as I was so bored! Shame really. Plot was good but was too over the top about fashion and what people are wearing, and that age old problem, I do not like the characters, they don't seem like nice people. You would like this book if you are an Irish Fashion Editor. Otherwise skip it.
"A great story with intricacies and fun"
i was listening to this story whilst doing my embroidery. My husband came in to the room and started laughing in the right places. We ended up listening for the evening, the tv was quite and black in the corner.
