Publisher's Summary

In this stunning new novel, the inventor of the world's first clock is punished for trying to measure time. He is banished to a cave for centuries and forced to listen to the voices of all who come after him seeking more years for themselves. At last, with his soul nearly broken, Father Time is granted his freedom, along with a mission: a chance to redeem himself by teaching two earthly people the true meaning of time.

He returns to our world - now dominated by the obsession with time he so innocently began - and commences a journey with two unlikely partners: one a teenage girl who is about to give up on life, the other a wealthy old businessman who wants to live forever. To save himself, he must save them both. And stop the world to do so.

Gripping, simply told and filled with deep human truth, this unforgettable story will inspire readers everywhere to reconsider their own notions of time, how they spend it and how precious it truly is.

Good original concept.

Good original concept which obviously has a moral point to make but doesn't jam it down your throat.

A worthy Average read.

Mitch Albom had written incredible books but it didn't come close to the others.

Albom like to write about dream like situation and this is push that writing into the next level. The dream like situation doesn't sit well with the Reality based problem that the characters have in this book. The sub real part feel like Deux Ex Machina to rob you out off the experience. Consider it as a worse version of the Christmas carol.

Dan Steves is a decent narrator until he try to acts as the characters in side the book. There is no character enhance because of his voice acting. And I reckon some even annoyed me.

Still there is good in this book. It is still a decent read. It scores at the point that didn't bored me enough to stop.

If you gonna read it. I guess check Albom's other work first. These are way better
