Callie Taylor's life is turned upside down when she learns the truth about her birth following the death of her mother. Not only is her father alive, but he's none other than presidential candidate Senator Warren Sherbrooke. Billionaire and confirmed bachelor, Dylan Talbot, is devoted to his family. When his stepfather Warren Sherbrooke receives a letter from a past love telling him they have a daughter together, Dylan is instantly suspicious.
In order to keep the media vultures away and protect Warren's political aspirations, Dylan convinces Warren to let him handle the situation. As Callie and Dylan spend time together, they can't resist the feelings that blossom between them. However, when Callie learns the real reason he has been spending time with her their fledgling romance is put in jeopardy and only complete honesty can save it.

"AWESOME loved it"
yes over and over
I like the start of the book and how she learned who her father was
when Jake helped Dylan apologize to her by getting her to the tea house
A romance not to be missed and watched
"ALL ABOUT FAMILY"
Callie life was turned upside down but her new family turns it right side up great story
Never the Killion Group!
It seemed as though she had never read anything aloud in her life! The accents came and went and sometimes she used an english accent and other times it was irish!
Does anyone listen to the narrator before they publish or whatever you do with audibles. Sometimes the pauses were so long I thought my listening device had quit or maybe she lost her spot. She sounded like she had nasal problems that were choking her. The story was good but may have been great with a better flow.
"Always love her books"
I've reviewed the book already. This is my review of the narrator. She did alright. English accent and all but I didn't care for her lapses in her reading. At times I thought she forgot to turn off the mic in order to have a drink.
"Not ready for prime time."
Not very believable. Too many rough spots, dialogs and/or scene transitions sounded awkward and artificially forced. Story too predictable. Plot was ok but execution needs more polish to be a satisfying read.
I enjoyed this love story since I bought the electronic copy a year ago and can't get enough of Christina's work.
