Another amazing Irvine Welsh novel
Irvine Welsh never fails to amaze me. This novel really captures some very female perspectives which for a male writer is genius. Also just as you think you know where these characters are heading in their downward chaotic spiral, the ending still has the ability to surprise you. Classic Welsh.

Loved it!
I thought I was going to miss Tam Dean Burn! The voice talent were incredible and I loved the story. Awesome!!

Excellent
As ever Irvine Welsh, gives an original and exceptional story that holds you to the very end. This book as all of his books deal with real people and real life situations across a multitude of scenarios. I can't recommend it enough.

loved it!
I read lots of Irvine Welsh as a teenager growing up in Glasgow and tackled the same books as a young adult when I could understand them better. This is totally left field to the grimey Scottish genres of previous reads, yet still incredibly twisted.
Although written a few years back, the book feels current and will resonate with anyone familiar with calorie counting and appearance focused modifications with some journeys of self discovery and a good whack of sex and violence thrown in. Thanks Welsh! your books never fail to leave me wanting more.
I enjoyed the narrator who switches between the characters well. only 4 stars as the drawl of the accent was just a bit harsh on my ears at times, but then I think that was what was intended.
