He knows how to score, on and off the ice.
Allie Hayes is in crisis mode. With graduation looming, she still doesn't have the first clue about what she's going to do after college. To make matters worse, she's nursing a broken heart thanks to the end of her longtime relationship. Wild rebound sex is definitely not the solution to her problems, but gorgeous hockey star Dean Di-Laurentis is impossible to resist. Just once, though, because even if her future is uncertain, it sure as heck won't include the king of one-night stands.
It'll take more than flashy moves to win her over.
Dean always gets what he wants. Girls, grades, girls, recognition, girls; he's a ladies man, all right, and he's yet to meet a woman who's immune to his charms. Until Allie. For one night, the feisty blonde rocked his entire world - and now she wants to be friends? Nope. It's not over until he says it's over. Dean is in full-on pursuit, but when life-rocking changes strike, he starts to wonder if maybe it's time to stop focusing on scoring, and shoot for love.

"What a Difference a Narrator Makes (or Narrators)!"
I am a huge Elle Kennedy fan. I am an especially big fan of her Off Campus series. I have to say that I was hugely disappointed for the audio of the 1st 2 books of the series. Truthfully, had there been no change in narrator, I would not have purchased this, the 3rd book in the series. BUT, with the dual POV of the book, she also now has dual narrators. Bravo!! I was not very familiar with either one of these narrators, but they both did a great job.
As for the story, by now we are very familiar with Dean and Allie based on the first 2 books. However, this story really does a great job of delving into each character and building all the layers. The author develops the characters so well that there I times that I don't like them and there are times when I love them. They both go through a lot of self realization and self questioning, but not to the point that I am thinking, "Please get over yourself", which happens more often than I would like with other authors.
In the end you get the HEA, but its not the HEA you expect... which I think makes it better.
This was a great book! The narrators were perfect! It also had me laughing out loud several times!! I didn't listen to the first two in the series due to reviews on bad narrators but it's perfect as a standalone without the previous ones!
I have loved this entire series!! I don't even have a favorite couple. I love them all!! This book made me laugh more than the others and I mean I really laugjed!!
I love Elle Kennedy and her Off Campus series. My disappointment with the narration of the first two books in this series was almost palatable, but thankfully the Audio Gods listened and found two decent authors to do this book justice!
Bring on the audio for The Goal!!!!
"Thank U for changing the Narrators!!"
I've thoroughly enjoyed this series, but I had to switch to the kindle for the last 2 books bc of the narrator! These narrators were so much better! Great series, can't wait to hear Tuck's story!
This is one of the best and funniest books I've read in a long time. Great author and narrations. Elle Kennedy has an awesome sense of humor!!!
"Yay, Audible listened!"
Having been really disappointed in the audio version of 'The Deal' -the first book in the series due to the narrator, I was really happy to see that this dual POV story had new narrators that fit the characters of the book.
The narrators really brought the appropriate tone and voice to the characters -rather than it seeming like someone was just reading a book to me, they made me feel like they were the characters and brought the story to life.
Thank you Audible for paying attention to feedback provided about narrators and dual POV books, and then making adjustments to books later in a series!
Very captivating book but be warned, it is very young adult. Despite its lack of maturity during some conversations it was very entertaining and still relatable enough. Good book for those who like the bad boy/good girl story's.
"Kennedy delivers again! Great collegiate romance!"
Kennedy has a knack for writing young adult novels, but making keeping them relevant and entertaining for this 50ish person. I enjoy this series very much and based on some of the secondary characters in this book, I can look forward to other books in this series.
Allie and Dean's story (centered at Briar) starts with him respecting her as his roommates girlfriends best friend; Allie thinks of him as a man whore just out to have sex with anything that moves. Their relationship evolves from rebound sex for her and good sex for him to the realization that they have a lustful need for each her that further develops as they both battle to determine what happens after graduation.
I recommend reading this book for purchase, coveted credit or sale!!
"Fun. Fun. Fun."
Adorable. Thought I'd hate Dean but loved him soon into the story. Great relationship and chemistry. Going to reread entire series. Enjoy their world.
