Publisher's Summary

#1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts’ electrifying trilogy comes to an end, as three men and three women join forces - and hearts - to battle the ultimate evil.

Years ago, after their blood brother ritual, Gage, Fox, and Caleb each emerged from the woods with a piece of bloodstone. Now, it will become their weapon in the final fight against the demon they awakened. Winner take all…

Shared nightmares, visions of blood and fire, and random violence begin to plague the longtime friends and the women bound to them by fate. None of them can ignore the fact that, this year, the demon has grown stronger - feeding off of the terror it creates. But now, the three pieces of the bloodstone have been fused back together. If only they could figure out how to use it.

A gambling man like Gage has no trouble betting on his crew to find a way. And though he and Cybil share the gift of seeing the future, that’s all they share. But Gage knows that a woman like Cybil - with her brains and strength and devastating beauty - can only bring him luck. Good or bad has yet to be determined - and could mean the difference between absolute destruction or an end to Hawkins Hollow's nightmare...

Enjoyable enough.

I do enjoy rereading and now listening to this trilogy, with its very likeable and entertaining characters and very interesting storyline.
Read quite a few times as I enjoy these characters and the story itself.
So many similarities between these characters and those in the KEY TRILOGY though.
Blonde leading heroine and the silly dog in book one plus other things that come out as one reads.
A major plot point in book two, which I really dislike and cannot agree with, which is not thought out for the long-term future of any children involved, loses one star.

AUDIBLE REVIEW
Though I enjoyed these books in audible, I think I preferred reading them.
The narrator does struggle doing the female voices but not as bad as the narrator in book one.
BOOK REVIEW
Most recently read in the box set. I do enjoy rereading this trilogy with its very likeable and entertaining characters and very interesting storyline.
Read quite a few times as I enjoy these characters and the story itself. Reviewed years ago but reviews are missing.
A great finish to this trilogy with an awful lot happening and Gage and Cybil hooking up.
We learn more about why this has happened and read how the townsfolk deal with the seven days this time around.
This is apparently the final time and the final attempt that can be made to stop the demon and that will decide the fate of everyone.
The characters are enjoyable and the fact the three women are strong, intelligent and brave really makes this enjoyable. Some nasty things happen but they add to the story in such a way you know they needed to be included.

Nora's overt sexism

I love a good Nora Romance as much as any romance junkie. But this series felt labored and thickly layered with sexism. ugh. so disappointed.

Wow what a finale. Dramatic and emotional.

A dramatic and emotional end to a great trilogy. The performance was very well done too. I'm not big on sci-fi but this was great.
